Avid replaced our old furnace and very old air conditioner with two high efficiency units. The process was fantastic. So are the results. Conrad was incredibly patient and helpful. He answered all of my questions. He came out to our house and evaluated our needs. He understood that this was a big investment and not to be made lightly. He also gave me an education. The office staff was always friendly. Responses to any question I had were always quick. Conrad and the installation team operated like a finely tuned machine. Everyone at this company is a real pro. I'm very glad I went with them. I can't say enough about Avid Heating and Cooling. I'd give them six stars if I could - and Conrad would get seven!

I hired the guys at Avid to install a new air conditioner unit. They were very knowledgeable and helpful. They took extra time to make sure my new system was dialed in properly. They were timely and responsive and got the job done in good time. They were respectful of my home and property. And they cleaned up after the job was done. They are competent at their craft. I would highly recommend them to others, especially if you live near or around the Lake Minnetonka area. I regard them as very trustworthy and offering a great value on the level of services they delivered. They also recommended replacing my furnace’s rusted burners while they were at it, since they were already working on the system. Glad they did. I wish I could give these guys ten stars. They are 100% professionals, providing service that goes way above and beyond expectations. They are also the most reasonably priced, and install the best brand of equipment (Trane). They are prompt with service and stayed working until very late into the night on a Friday, rather than stopping and coming back later, so that we didn't have to suffer in the high heat. When a hidden wasps' nest tore in half during the replacement of our A/C unit and they instantly got stung over 20 times, they were true heroes and braved the swarm of hundreds to remove the whole nest for us. We had also gotten a new heater from them a few years back and it was the same thing - best equipment, most reasonable cost, and outstanding service. I feel really lucky to have them in business in my neighborhood.

Excellent customer service on the phone and when they came to install our air conditioner. Absolutely no pressure from them for anything and they were all so polite and well mannered. We highly recommend for any service you need!

Avid is a great company. From the office gal setting up the appointment to the guy who came out to do the repair. 100% pleasant to work with, helpful and professional.
