“Stayed here last fall for a hunting trip. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Owner is a super nice guy, accommodating, and knowledgeable of the area. Will help you out with whatever you need. Would definitely stay here again. Prices are more than fair.”

“I travel all year with my job and usually stay in bigger HOTELS so when I first pulled in I was skeptical… I have stayed in MOTELS in the past and they were not the greatest experience. This motel is awesome.This is definitely the nicest MOTEL I have ever stayed in.The owners have done an amazing job to update this one. Rooms are very clean, quiet and worth every penny. Nice comfortable beds clean shower with good water pressure. Double rooms have full size refrigerator/ freezer, the singles have a refrigerator / freezer that is twice the size of any other HOTEL OR MOTEL that I have stayed in. Both have big screen t.v. There is a very nice place to sit outside with 2 grills , fire pit and covered patio with a table and nice chairs. The owners who are on property and always available if needed are pleasant to talk to and deal with. The Viking motel will always be my choice when I’m in this area!Rooms: New mattresses that were very comfortable. I’m guessing 50” tv. Clean tub/shower with good water pressure. Very nice towels and plenty of them. No carpet which I think is a plus. Bigger refrigerator/ freezer than most hotels.Noteworthy details: Very pet friendly with plenty of space to walk your dogs…. or cats!”

“Absolutely wonderful experience. Originally stopped for a night, but ended up staying longer than expected. Glad I chose this place. Freshly renovated, convenient, and you couldn't ask for better ownership. I've spent many nights staying here and would never stay anywhere else in the area. I can't say enough about the owners.
