About Monty Bait and Tackle
Monty Bait and Tackle Shop is Co owned and operated by Jesus "Chuy" Godinez Jr and Ricardo "Rica" Guzman. They specialize heavily on Catfish and Carp fishing which is what they grew up fishing in Texas and New Mexico. You will also find tackle for Walleye, Bass, Crappie, Pike, Trout, and Muskie in the shop. Their experience has help assist customers with any fishing endeavor they undertake. Shop also includes Pro-Staff members, Scott Goodemann ("The Iceman") and Dan Olson (Danny 2 Kats). They also host a Podcast every week called The Old Carver Fishing Podcast that includes Tera Linsay and Luke Hentges from Rods and Reloads. Their shop has become to be known throughout the Midwest as the Catfishing HQ for all catfisherman.
