Woke up to a voicemail threatening to cancel my service out of the blue. I called them to ask what was up and they said they were going to pull the plug on us because someone was using our wifi to download movies or something. Absurd overreaction for something that wasn't even done by anyone in the house. How would they know if they weren't spying on us anyway? I'd stear clear from these creeps.

I was returning a router after canceling my internet service. The staff was friendly & did not try to talk me out of canceling my service or try to sell me on another of their plans. It was quick & easy without any awkward sales attempts! Thank you Fibernet

This internet service can’t get any worse. Mediocre internet speeds for a ridiculous high price and the customer service is the bane of humanity. You would pay your bill and finally get your internet activated DAYS later. This company needs to be erased

Price keeps going up every month. Also takes forever to load since they started using wifi. I will be finding a different service when my contract is up. Very unhappy with Arvig.

We are now on our 4th or 5th modem. Service is consistently poor. Customer service is get and tech dept too but the equipment failure repeatedly is more than frustrating. I had to funeral service I wanted to watch today and couldn't because of the buffering. Yes it was on my end not the church..service just cuts out. For as much as we pay we should not be having the issues we had. Not to mention, we had wiring and modem moved to center of house and were charged. STILL DOESN'T WORK PROPERLY! I actually want a refund for that. Fibernet can eat that cost.

Not sure about the internet as this is the first day but as far as customer service they knocked it out of the park and I feel that is worth mentioning. We are new to the area and were looking for an ISP, put in a request to Fibernet, received a call while I was at work and wasn’t able to talk on the phone long so the lady told me that I could call once I got off work at 5pm even though they close at 5, I called on Tuesday at 5pm and didn’t get an answer but left a voicemail and sure enough they gave me a call only a few minutes later. Not only we’re they extremely friendly but since thursdays are my only day off they pushed up the install for me only two days later so it would work good for me! Needless to say I was very impressed. Our instal date was today and they gave me a very manageable time frame for install. Our tech, Brian (5/5) showed up promptly and was extremely friendly and helpful. Walked me through it all and was patient with me. I don’t ever leave reviews but the service from this company made me feel like I needed to as the 3.0 star rating was not sufficient what so ever. Awesome company and I recommend them to anyone looking for a hassle free experience. Thank you Fibernet!! P.S. to all of the people complaining and saying the customer service is rude, please remember you get out what you put in. I had nothing but friendly communication throughout the entire process.

Worst internet I've ever had. It constantly goes out, things are incredibly slow to load. On top of that they are trying to charge us for extra fees that shouldn't exist. Another scam. I'm not surprised at this point. Not many choices in this area either.Edit: I did reach out and this was the end result.

I have been with our own Cable service, Fibernet, from the beginning and of course have had to work through many updates through the years. Fibernet has always been Easy to work with on these issues. We have a choice of services and we can purchase what fits our needs or change anytime. The Technical support is very knowledgeable and can usually help either on the phone or a trip to our house. Yes, Monticello has grown and many choose by price but I choose to stay local and support our very own cable service. I hope many others will do the same.
