Whale of a Wash offers a self service car wash with DIY spray wash and good soap, good warm water. Customers can pay with credit cards or quarters. The place is dark and uncomfortable, and some stalls can be out of order, like the last stall on the North, where tokens may not work. The last stall on the South is usually fine. The Moorhead location has a bad smell from drainage, but the scrub brush can scratch and is not recommended. The parking and drive up asphalt and concrete are beat up, but there is less trash than other self‑serve spots. For $5, a quick wash of a filthy truck covered in salt is possible, and many return.

Exactly what you need and not a thing more. Very affordable car washes and can be in and out in 5 minutes. They could probably squeeze another couple of bucks out of me if they put card readers on the vacuums however.

Good for self service car washing, but seems to attract suspicious customers. I found the place to be dark and uncomfortable.
