Just joined my best friend at his cabin in the area. Yesterday his dog got into barbed wire and was bleeding profusely. He tried to use this vet. The receptionist tried to turn him away saying they were not accepting new clients. There's more to the story. Bottom line: if you need an animal ER, go to Pine City or Hickley.

Would give a higher review if their ability to answer the phone was better and the ability to get any kind of urgent help when needed. Being turned away or lied to when coming in after trying to call for an hour, reception is a 1 star review, but the techs and vets are good from my experience.

I had to put my cat down today, which was really hard for me. But i cannot thank the staff enough, they were super kind and helped tremendously on a bad day. I can’t remember her name exactly (it rhymes with Michaela) was so sweet, along with the Dr & nurse. Thank you for being my light on a dark day! ?

This was one of the hardest Veterinarian visits I’ve ever had in my life but the staff at ECV couldn’t have been better to me on such a horrible day. Their kindness, sensitivity, care, empathy and blatant love through the process of saying goodbye to a loved one is something I’ll appreciate for a long time when I look back. Genuinely, thank you for making such a dark day just a little bit easier.
