I’ve never in my life left a poor review on google but I felt compelled after my second attempt to utilize Tinker and Larsen services. The first time I called was back in 2022 regarding an oil change on my jeep. The male individual that answered was incredibly rude about the whole ordeal and stated that I should “take a number or wait until the last minute to book an appt.” as they were booked out pretty far for oil changes. I had enough of the uncalled for side comments and disconnected the call. This morning I called as my jeep was flashing error codes when I attempted to start it. It’s the only vehicle I own to get my daughter and I to and from school and work so naturally I was already stressed out. It also happens to be a Saturday so I knew my chances were slim to none on getting it looked at in our small town. I called Tinker and Larsen and an older gentlemen answered the phone. I simply asked “good morning, I was wondering if your service department happens to be open today?” To which their sales rep answered in an incredibly snarky voice “No, apparently they think they get a day off like everyone else.” I said “no I understand thank you” and hung up. After finding a much more professional and kind auto center. This comment nagged on me. Neither of us knew what challenges the other had seen this morning but instead of simply stating “no our service department isn’t open, but they open at xyz time on xyz day” this rep choose to be rude and snarky. This being the second instance something like this has happened at tinker and Larsen I will never again even attempt to utilize their services let alone purchase a vehicle from them which I may be in the market for now. Words have weight… I hope the Reps at Tinker and Larsen read this review and choose to do better.

Service was great . Didn't take long for the mechanic to set our remote up.The person who was the owners son was not to friendly. He could smile more and act like he appreciated your business. As I could of went in to another Dodge dealer to get remote done.Thank you to the friendly mechanic.

Have gone here for good oil changes before, but had extra charges on vehicles in recent times that were given no explanation. Extra charges were bull and didn’t make sense, and were results of services not asked for. A shame especially since this is a local business.

The wife and I stopped in there on Friday May 21st. We were traveling with a brand new Jeep, 1100 miles on it and the service four wheel drive light came on and check engine light came on and the service engine message came on. I realize it was Friday at 3:30 in the afternoon when we stopped and spoke with the service manager about these issues and he wasn't very helpful or concerned about it. I could just tell by his reactions and his hesitations that he really didn't want to delve into this on Friday afternoon at 3:30. Plus it's a brand new vehicle under warranty. He gave us very little help. Other than saying if it was him he would just drive the vehicle that these lights and messages, warnings coming up on the dash weren't serious. He did say we should contact the dealer we bought it from when we got back home. So that's what we did and we left. I quit buying GM vehicles because of that kind of treatment. I guess Chrysler-Jeep may not be any better.

Tom and Dan are absolutely the best and there whole crew are the best in greater Minnesota, if you have a dodge or want to get into one, go check them out. The service is outstanding, you will not be disappointed.
