Impressive university in a small-town setting. The people, professors, students, and staff are all working together to make the place better. Like any genuine endeavor, this is a work in progress and they are not perfect...but its a great place to learn and be authentic about who you are and what you want to do with your life. I felt welcome and engaged in challenging and positive ways.

It was a good few years at UMM Morris. The campus is super pretty, and everyone here is very friendly. This school felt like my hometown in that way. Would recommend going here to anyone who likes a small, relaxing location. The campus is also very green, which is great for peace of mind.

Do not go here if you are suffering any type of mental illness. I had depression and bulimia and rather than providing help, they threw me out of dorms and apartments. This place is awful.

Awesome school, great instructors, and if you make it through to graduation you'll have a great education.

UMM is a wonderful college that challenges its students with rigorous courses and makes students aware and accepting of others while learning about themselves. Morris is a great small town to learn how to "grow up" in. It's got e everything you need.

UMM offers everything you'd want from a small, private liberal arts college, but because it's a public school it costs considerably less. I studied music here, and I couldn't recommend this department highly enough--particularly if you're interested in piano (incredible instructors) or composition (lots of enthusiasm for student works). The campus itself is beautiful, the student community is intimate and fun, and the professors are super accessible. I'd give the place six stars if I could.

Both of my boys attended this college. It is the gem of the UM system. As others have noted, the class sizes are small and the profs actually do the teaching, getting to know their students in a way that can't happen in a graduate research facility such as the main campus in the Twin Cities. Tuition is very affordable which was a bonus for this single parent. Although there is some typical college town alcohol abuse, neither of my kids came across hard drugs. NO METH!! If you are looking for a progressive, environmentally conscious, diverse group of people, Morris may be just the place for you!
