“I really like this location, the team is great. Dean is so kind, knowledgeable and helpful! I mail international packages occasionally and he always knows just what to do and what information to enter. Unlike Minneapolis usps-One of my items was returned and unable to be delivered to Great Britain due to Minneapolis usps not entering address details correctly into the system . I brought my item to mail here at waconia and Dean knew exactly how and what to enter with the address I provided. The item arrived just as it was suppose to via international mail.
Jill is also super helpful and friendly! She helped me get details about a late and missing package that the 1800 number could not. Thank You Waconia usps!”

“Sometimes it's busy, but luckily they let me put my packages that are ready to ship (and I don't need a receipt ) on the counter that's not being used, vs having to wait in line. No issues with mail delivery/packages received either.”
“Ryan went out of his way to personally find a package that was delivered to the wrong address ( mistakes happen) I certainly didn't expect him to personally go check mailboxes near the scanned location then hand deliver it back to me at my job- GREAT customer service. 5 stars!”

“This location can get quite busy; and yet I've always experienced helpful customer service, even if it means I need to wait for my turn. Contrary to another review, I do not find this location to be dirty or unorganized. Thank you, Postal Workers, for how tirelessly you work to deliver mail and provide us with the best service you can. I'm sorry for those who are thankless complainers!”

“So, I have to say I have been avoiding the Hamel post office for quite awhile. There was a gentleman that worked there that was just awful. Today I went in there because I didn't want to drive far because I don't live that far from it and the young woman that was working there today was a breath of fresh air. Just very nice and pleasant. I certainly hope she has replaced the other man. It would be different if he was awful every now and then but, no he was just unfriendly and gave such bad vibes everytime I dealt with him. I am giving these 4 stars to that young woman.”
