“Itasca Wine & Spirits is my husband’s and my neighborhood liquor store. We love visiting for a bottle of wine and catching up with the staff.
We rented the private room at the back of the store for our rehearsal dinner the night before our wedding. We LOVED it and want to host and attend more events here.
Jason is so nice and easy to work with providing extremely reasonable prices. He thought of everything when it came to the event space. This was a major highlight of our wedding weekend.”

Nice selection of liquor/cordials as well. Small parking lot accessible from Grand St. or the alley behind the building. Street parking as well. Handicapped accessible. Between Violet Wine and Small Hours a couple blocks away, NE MPLS has wonderful wine connoisseurs! Support local businesses!”

Expertly curated to pull you in and foment conversation, their selection of natural and organic wines isn’t just for the fad followers but fit for any occasion—sitting on the couch or hosting everyone you know. Beyond that, their staff’s depth of knowledge is formidable and they are not just open to chat but delightfully friendly. Leslie, the owner, wasn’t there, but I am looking forward to taking advantage of the classes and discussions I am told she offers.”

“I am with the Centerville Lions Club. I stopped in as I was driving by to see Pete, the Owner. I was looking for a donation for our local event that we have coming up. He stepped right up to the plate and said here you go. What a great guy. Thank you so much for supporting a local Non-profit. We serve in the community and are able to do so with the help of people like Pete! Thank you Pete! We will be back not only as a Lion but as a community resident too! Thank you again! “I can’t say enough good things about this place!! I have been a regular there for the past year and a half since moving to the area and have no reason to wish to go anywhere else. The staff regularly provide excellent guidance when I’m looking for something new to try. All of the cashiers are very nice and personable.
I have had especially great experiences with a woman who was very knowledgeable in tequila and talks as if she is a manager/owner.
Their loyalty program is another highlight for me”

“My friend told me about this store. I was apprehensive, but it was on my way home. I was looking for a nice bourbon. The gentleman behind the counter saw where I was looking and asked me if I was looking for a particular bourbon he had behind the counter. I inquired about it, bought a bottle and love it. I will now be doing all of my business there because of this guy's referral and friendliness. I called there today and they are sold out of that particular bourbon, but I'm sure they will get it again.”
“Great prices. Their bloody Mary mix in the mason jars are delicious!. 7.49 a jar can't go wrong. It's a jalapeno flavor. There is a huge jalapeno in the jar soaking in it. It is cooked on the grill it looks like, than placed in the jars..”

The shelves are always stocked and everything is faced (pushed forward so us short people can see it)If I have a question staff are always knowledgeable, And always make me feel good because they not only greet me but make small talk.I'll continue shopping there only because of the customer service. Would rather give my money to these Great people than some franchise liquor store that only cares about getting rich rather than any cares about customers. But this store is not like that. WOW, i had never been to this liq. store and so I went in I didn’t know where the little cooler full of the frozen drink pouches were and had to ask.. the KINDEST gentleman walked me to where the cooler was, and once we got there and I opened it up, he asked what flavor I was looking for & then even OFFERED TO DIG THROUGH THE COOLER FOR ME SO I WOULDNT BREAK A NAIL!!!!! Where do you even find someone that nice?! (I never got his name, but he knows who he is!) I mean, that’s absolutely winning at customer service & made my absolute day. Mickys may not be my closest liquor store, but now it is 100% hands down without a doubt my favorite.”
