I’ve been going to this site for 12 years and haven’t had the problems other people have posted. I’ve seen times where the lady there gets a little aggressive. I think if you just pull up wait your turn and go as detected you shouldn’t have a problem. If you go there like you own the place and do whatever you want, then yes you might get your head chewed off.

Highly Impressed ?.This site entrance was clearly marked with hours and acceptable items list. Upon driving in, this site was orderly with clear paths, organized, and easy to follow directions for different types of composting piles. I, in particular, was impressed with the green compostable bags located at the food scrap bins available to us for our compostable food scraps!I also noted the attendant answering questions for visitors and many smiles ?. That was a good sign.That said, and for starters, I'm encouraging my Ramsey County neighbors to compost their grass clippings... I love the fresh grass clipping smell. Yep, it was great at the Mounds View Yard Waste Site ?

Woman attendant is needlessly abusive. She scared my three year-old daughter to tears by shouting into our vehicle. Avoid this site and take your compost to the unattended dumpsters at St. Anthony Gov't Center.

I pay taxes to the state of MN. But can't drop of leafs .its ok you will be picking them of the streets then have fun.

Very rude employee at this compost site. The lady who I was speaking with was very brash and lacked any kind of customer service skills. When approaching her the lady asked "What's the problem" in a very rude demeaner and said "leave" as if I was a scrub after answering my question. I'm honestly sorry to say that I pay taxes to help pay this woman's wage when she shouldn't be paid a dime the way she treats people. What a slap in the face.

This review isn't about the facility itself. It's about the onsite personal.Basically I was treated extremely rudely, when your greeted immediately with a "WHAT DO YOU WANT?" versus "Hello, how can I help you?", It creates a very bad taste in your mouth.The onsite personal was in the little hut, never came out, was watching TV and sounded as if he was bothered I approached and asked a question. When he finally answered it was with a very rude attitude and snarky responses.This wasn't the first time either. Seems like people that work onsite hate their jobs..Again, the site is great for waste, but Ramsey County, get yourself some better people that know what customer service is, regardless of the job.

Like that I can drop off compost here. You can get a free compost bucket for your home, and each time you come here, you can get 2 free biodegradable bags for compost. Some staff here are very friendly, some aren't as much, but they all seem fair.
