Silver View Park is a lovely outdoor space featuring a walking path around a pond with ducks and good views of fall colors. The park has a playground, including a fun old-style Merry-go-round and a zip-line, making it enjoyable for children. Visitors can use the large pavilion, which can be reserved, and picnic tables are available throughout the area. There are many sports options, such as soccer, baseball, basketball, disc golf, horseshoe pits, and volleyball. A small lake with an asphalt trail offers a nice spot for walks and observing wildlife like turtles, egrets, and ducks. The park is dog-friendly, allowing leashed or unleashed dogs, provided owners clean up. Recent efforts to remove invasive plants and improve water quality are ongoing, though some areas look bare. Overall, Silver View Park is a great place for family fun, outdoor activities, and enjoying nature, with nice amenities and a welcoming atmosphere.
This park has baseball fields, a playground for kids and is my favorite short disc golf course. There are bathrooms open during the summer, a paved walking path, basketball court, a small pavilion with picnic tables and a couple grills and a kids size sleding hill for winter.
