“So I had never been to a dollar general before I started going to this one about a month ago....AMAZING! LOVE THE DOLLAR SECTION! Great prices on PET FOOD too. I had no idea it was gunna be as big as it is on the inside! Like warehouse big. My self control ghosts me the second I walk in now, so just be careful. DONT WANDER.If I get to the wandering.... Im done for. Forget the $25 limit I stupidly try giving myself before entering the store. And every employee who works here is great. ANTOINETTE is like mini injections of dopamine directly into the neurons of my brain everytime I see her. Her energy is so great and super contagious. I know I'm not the only one she has this effect on either because the lady in front of me in line today was laughing with her. They laughed without me.... When she rang me up I fumbled around my purse pretending to look for my cash (knowing right where it was, of course) just to talk to her a little longer so we could laugh. Antoinette is a day brightener and DollarGeneral is super lucky to have such a great person on their team. Good store, great employees...5 star experience for me everytime thus far.”
“This is one of the best locations. Shelves are always fully stocked. The store is clean and organized. Lines aren’t freakishly long. Usually has adequate amount of cashiers. Was surprised they closed at 6pm rather than 10pm the evening I was there. Cashier said it was because someone had called off so I suppose they need to hire more people or people who like their job enough not to cause such a thing. I imagine that’s a decent loss for the store. Anyway my cashier, I don’t remember his name I wish I did, was SO nice and friendly. We had a ton of stuff so we had a few minutes to chat and he was just super pleasant and friendly.”

“Let's face it. Sometimes in life, you ruin into situations where you stumble across the need for something. It's not just a want, like "hey that would be pretty cool to have", but a necessity like getting midway through using facilities only to see there's no more TP! I've no shame in saying that money for me is incredibly tight these days. I've got bills, responsibilities, car issues bubbling up (with 233k miles it's inevitable... Ugh FML), and stretching my paycheck is getting harder and harder. Dollar Tree to the rescue!Tonight I ran into my bathroom sink going from a slow drain to a full blown clog. I tried using a wire to dislodge whatever the block was, no go. I grabbed the plunger and did all a man (or lady, no discrimination from this fella) could do but to no avail. I've got a heck of a week building up and I've not the time or coin to let this figure itself out. I've definitely used liquid clug removers before with good results but that stuff is spendy and until I get paid, not something I can afford. At 41, that last sentence absolutely crushes me and intelligence or laziness has nothing to do with it. Back on topic, what's a guy to do? That's when I remembered the Dollar Tree. I've bought laundry soap and other cleaning supplies from there in the past and have been pretty pleased with results but drain cleaner? Only way to find out was to get to it. I ran to my closest location and grabbed two 32oz Mr Plumber drain opener and a few random things on my way to check out. For just over 5 bones I was willing to take the chance. I poured a little over half of one bottle into my drain and let it sit for approx an hour. To my suprise I came back to the standing water having been drained. I ran the hot water for a few minutes and sure as you know it, the clog was no more!Now I know theres limits to this product and what Dollar Tree can offer but for me, tonight, it was my saving grace. In these difficult days, having access to a store where you can get something for bottom dollar is invaluable. I appreciate what places like this bring to the table and have no shame in utilizing it. Thanks Dollar Tree. I'll see you much sooner than later as I need some freakin clothes hangers.”
“I always come to this area in this little city with a nice friendly downtown. I never stopped at this general store. So I decided today just to come and visit. I walked around both few things. Prices are correct. Plenty of parking outside. It wasn't crowded at 1 PM on Friday. One or two employees at the front desk. For One of the employees the mask kept coming off her nose.Replace was relatively clean and well organized.”

“I pop in a few or several times a week for a few things. Staff is friendly and helpful. A couple of times I have went in asking: what is going on? For some reason the bingo folks prefer to park in the lot instead of their assigned back parking lot. Don't let the parking scare you, the masses are not in the store. I got a good chuckle tonight... after looking at the end of a few aisles where the batteries are usually hanging. A fellow in a green shirt passed by... I was going to ask him... I hesitated... maybe it's not an employee? He passed by again; I asked: where are the batteries?.... you work here...right? He replied: ha.... you ask that like I haven't seen you in here every week for the past two or three years. I got a good chuckle from the exchange... it's not as if we chit chat while I check out and he probably sees hundreds of customers a day. Thanks for the chuckle Dollar Tree... ha.”
“This dollar store is decent. Usually has a good variety of items. Not too messy as some dollar store. There is no "plus" area so all the items are $1.25.”
“It was a little crowded as they were putting away products that had just been delivered so getting thru the aisles was rather difficult. But all in all it was a good experience. I even saved more $ than I thought I would at checked out. Now that's a really good experience!!!”

It is a little walk away from the train station, with the stop options of Hamline or Snelling (approx 10 minute walk). The bus station will get you a little closer, but it is still a decent walk. (Approx 3-5 minutes)Dollar Tree does a great job at keeping up with seasonal items. This is a great place to shop if you're having a party!If you're into organizing, this location has plenty of affordable and aesthetically pleasing storage solutions.I find myself in the "personals isle" quite often. This isle is filled with everything that you need. From exfoliating gloves and nail clippers to boxes of tissue, bars of soap, ponytail holders, nail polish remover- you name it, Dollar Tree has it in stock.There is something for everyone here at Dollar Tree. I want to highlight that if you're a student or teacher, this is a great place to shop for materials.The winter gear is out right now! Mittens, hats and scarves for both adults and toddlers and the Christmas items are also beginning to fill the shelves.This is such a great place to putz around. I guarantee you will find something interesting or that you've been looking for at an exceptional price.”
