I recently completed a concealed carry class with Chanpheng Luongvan and I couldn’t be more impressed with the entire experience. From start to finish the course was well organized, informative, and incredibly convenient.
The online portion of the class was clear, easy to follow, and packed with valuable information. The material was presented in a way that made it easy to understand even for someone new to firearms or concealed carry laws. I appreciated how the content struck the perfect balance between legal knowledge, safety protocols, and responsible carry practices nothing felt rushed or overly complicated.
What really stood out though was the professionalism and knowledge of the instructor, Chanpheng Luongvan. At the range, he maintained a calm, respectful, and safety focused environment that made everyone feel at ease regardless of experience level. He was patient, clear in his instructions, and took time to ensure each student felt confident and capable.
Overall this was a top tier training experience. The combination of convenient online learning and exceptional in person instruction makes this class a great option for anyone looking to obtain their permit to carry. “I've been to countless gun ranges. Bill's Gun Shop & Range is by far the best in the Twin Cities for Beginners! For you noobs reading this, everyone needs to sign a waiver before they can pew-pew! The wavering process here is informative as it is equally intuitive with their video instructional/tutorial on how to be a safe shooter - as part of the waiver process! I found this procedure to be extremely effective and certainly lacking at other ranges within the twin Cities. Keep up the good work guys!”
“Pretty good mid-sized shop. Very limited ammo and accessories (scopes, holsters, etc) but decent selection of firearms. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Range is pretty good overall.. can get busy/cramped at times.”
