New Hope Hy-Vee Pharmacy is a great and amazing pharmacy dedicated to helping people live healthier lives. It is here for all healthcare needs including prescriptions, refills, flu shots, vaccine immunizations, and pet medications. The staff and pharmacists are extremely nice, helpful, friendly, and dedicated. Customers report never being spoken to rudely and always receiving a cheerful voice when they call, where they can speak to a real person. The pharmacists answer all questions, quickly fill prescriptions, and go above and beyond to help, providing relief. Medications are filled on time according to availability. The pharmacy also has all over-the-counter medicine and generic drugs for allergy, cough, flu, and pain, plus toiletries. Prices are lower than those around them. Some minor notes mention the prescription section of the Hy-Vee app is not the best, and sometimes prescriptions are filled in giant bottles for tiny pills if filled off-site. The phone outside is noted as having a short cord. The store also includes a bakery, candy aisle, an alright variety of frozen stuff, limited produce, and meh variety of healthy non-dairy products, though special bulk orders for specific grocery products may not be available.
Great experience here after trying CVS. CVS would not even answer the phone, which was hard because I now have to take care of my mother and her medications even though I am new to all of this and don't know who to call for what, but Brent with Hy Vee Pharmacy has been a big help.
