“We rented a 50 foot boom lift / cherry picker for putting up Christmas lights and highway 55 rental made pickup and drop off extremely smooth. We also had questions about operating the machine after getting home and they were very responsive over the phone and even called back the next day to make sure everything was going well. “I had an appointment Friday June 20th at 11:00 to have a trailer hitch installed. I brought it in and brought a book with me to read while it was installed. I walked to a nearby park to read. Right before 11:30. he called and said it was done. I was very happy with their service and the hitch I purchased from U Haul.”

“First they moved us to a new distribution center for lack of truck availability. Then we found out they didn't have a 15, truck for us.....but they did have a 26 footer at no additional cost 😆. Logistics problems happen when you run a for hire logistics company. This was the correct way to handle it, and when we expressed surprise at not having a smaller truck, they even began backpedalling and saying they could call up and see what else they could do.
No, uhaul man, I am fine with near double the storage room. Would rent again lol.”

“Have had an outdoor spot for my 20' camper for several months, and I've continued to have great experiences with the on-site management. From my first phone call last year, and with multiple touch-points in between, they've been friendly and helpful. The keypad gate access is convenient for needing to stop by after hours, and it's always been well-lit after dark. Would recommend them for an affordable, secure place that's well-run.”

“Though the pickup spot we'd originally been sent to in Minneapolis was not open Sunday morning, a quick call sent us to a U-Haul store a few miles away. In Madison basically all we had to do was drop the vehicle at the service location in the parking lot, hop on the bicycle, and ride home on the adjacent bike path.”
“Had some difficult family situations etc this month but Quincy and lynnea took such good care of me here several of the employees have been over the top with customer service that’s why I always us this location. They are so through with customers service which is so seldomly seen these days. Appreciate the care this business clearly shows for the people they help service.
There’s a lot of Uhaul shops in the area. I highly recommend Doing business over here”
“**Update as of May 2026: new manager seems to be tightening things up. Moved out of here, but things are looking up from before.**
This place was great when the last company managed it. Ever since U-Haul took over it’s gone to shit. They’ve raised my rent 3 times over the past year.
On top of that, I arrived during access hours one day and the facility was closed. Texted the after hours line for help with no response. Main U-Haul hotline said they’re not sure why it’s closed, but they can’t do anything about it.
If you’re going to hike up rent, at least let me access my unit during access hours??”

“Service lady was exceptional. My 6yr old daughter got stung by a bee just walking up to the steps & the lady pulled out a first aid kit, talked to her, and helped her feel better. She even led us out a back way to the parking lot to avoid going by where there could be bees since my young daughters were scared of getting stung again. She went way above and beyond what she needed to do.”
