“On my never ending quest to try as many regional old school Dad beers as I can. The Liquor Barrel came up as the place to get them near where I was in Minnesota. Walked into a clean establishment with a great selection. I grabbed a six pack of Grain Belt but unfortunately they were out of Schell's Deer Brand in the same size. Also they only had Kokanee in a case....and as I'm travelling I only have so much space. That said this still looks like thee place to get suds in Prior Lake. Reccomended.”

“Rented the Emporium Room for our work holiday party. The room was so nice, we got the bar service and the bartender was great! The process was so easy. This is a great space and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to rent an affordable space. Had access to a kitchen area, sound system, (they even provided an adaptor), and restrooms.”
“Stopped in New Years eve. Fun bar and an AWESOME DJ! Not what I expected at all when visiting relatives for the holidays.The service was super fast and the music was insane. I have seen a dj in a bar before but this one didn't seem like a small town dj at all. I don't know if they always have him but they should.They had some food available too and a pool table.Incredible music, drinks... what more do you need for a night out?”

“Stopped by this location after coming into town to meet up with a family member - I grew up in Lakeville and regularly visit so always love shopping within the area. I was pleased to see items stocked and actually prices a bit lower than the same items in the cities near where I live. I found my item(s) and made my way to the register. As I reached for my license, the cashier asked for a birthday and left it at this (fine with me but not sure as far as proper procedure). She also then made a comment when my card didn't work that "if I am just be patient, it will work" which was not something I want from anyone. I said I appreciated her comment but would prefer more direct instruction and she then helped my card get swiped through and I was on my way. Stocked product at fair prices but staff were not very welcoming or overly friendly.”
“For a little out of the way place, they have an excellent selection of bourbon, Scotch and Irish Whiskey. Not to mention a pretty good array of local craft beer.”
“Food is good! 2 for 1 drinks is nice. Little pricey on the food. Lots of TVs. Some customers feel all TVs need to be showing the same thing. These seem to be regular customers that aren't fond of not from the area people.”
