“OK...so my wife thinks she is Joanna Gaines and is always looking to redecorate. We, (I mean she) decided we needed to get new carpet, which also means you need to scrape the popcorn off of our 1987 ceiling, redo the baseboard and paint. So, we, (I mean she) decided that she wanted to rip out the old carpet once we were done so we could give the floor a good cleaning before Hertaus laid the carpet. When we went in for the initial estimate/proposal we told Hertaus that they would rip out the old carpet. So imagine my delight, surprise and overall happiness when I got a credit from Hertaus because we, (I mean me) ripped out the old carpet instead of them. I never mentioned wanting a credit because we did that work. That was our choice. They could have easily done nothing. This is what integrity looks like. This is what doing business in your home town looks like.”
