Great experience at Carstar. Staff is very professional. They are great at communicating and explaining every stage of repair. They even arranged for rental car delivery and pickup. Our car looks great. Highly recommend them.

Terrible customer service by the manager Josh, poor quality control, dishonest estimates, and the quality of the paint job was not great and it took them an additional three weeks to get the job completed. I would not take my vehicle to this place again. Read on for details -When I dropped off my vehicle, they said it should be completed in a week. Four weeks later they finally had it completed. Charged an extra $100 for bolts that one of the techs indicated they always break when completing the repair and should have been part of the original estimate. Requested to have the $100 costs waived, as a good will gesture, because of the three-week delay in getting my truck back. Tech said that was up to Josh, the store manager and he would get back to me. Got the vehicle home and while inspecting the work found that one of the bolts and brackets, they charged me for was installed incorrectly - bolt was loose and bracket, which looked like the original bracket instead of a new one, was broken. Took it back the same night and dropped it off since it was now afterhours. I thought I would give Josh a few hours to call me back the next morning but no call with an update. Called around 10:00 and they indicated they were just getting it in for the repair. Picked it up around 11:30 and was able to catch Josh in the office. Asked him about waiving the $100 cost increase, due to the delay, the fact that they knew the bolts were going to break as part of the repair and the need to come back a second time due to the loose bolt and broken bracket. He immediately said no and began to walk away. I asked him "just no" and he said "yep" and asked me if I would ask any other contractor for a discount when a job was done. My response was, "no I would not if the job was done right". I explained the circumstances for the request and he didn't care, just kept saying no. I didn't even go into the fact they also damaged my bed liner and didn't install it correctly. I told him he just bought himself $100 worth of bad publicity and he said "go ahead, I don't care". So here we are. Potential customers be warned - this is not the place to take your vehicle if you expect quality and honest service and reasonable interactions with the store manager.

I had an abrasive altercation with an invisible, 3 foot concrete pylon at Abbott Northwestern Hospital roof top parking garage, and the pylon won. ??That being said, I needed body work done on the front passenger door and side view mirror. I wanted to go local with the repair and chose Carstar. Every interaction with the staff was pleasant. I was sent regular notices via text or phone call on the status of my car, and at one point we thought it might take longer to complete as a part was backordered, but they had it done by the time originally forecasted.The customer service is phenomenal and the body work was beautifully done. I am so pleased with their work.Thanks, Carstar!
