Very old building. Not enough room in parking lot. Very small public areas.

Quenched, dying of thirst; I pondered, hoping to stumble upon a drinking fountain. Even after hearing awful reviews from my peers about the water, I went into my gulp with hope, gulp....gulp, but hope can not solve everything. Though there was no aftertaste, the primary taste was full of rust and minerals, like licking a pipe? 4/10. And of course, I must also include those lockerooms. They would be considered a small closet. Thankfully, this time, we were given three rooms but very inconvenient and unefficient. I also must add that there is no room for warm-ups as well?. The lockeroom hallway was iota size; bumping, pushing, slamming into the walls and each other?. But not everyone here is gonna play, right? But even the food my peers acquired were not fulfilling their hunger. The pretzel was said to taste "old and chewy" 2/10?? , and the popcorn - though succeeding in adequate butter and salt distribution, therefore aiding in taste, to them, sadly it tasted stale? 6.5/10. The only good thing I can say is that they have upgraded the heating , and the ice is alright . Overall, it's fine but old.

Great time watching the grandchildren play. But Northfield needs a new facility.

11/2023 - The city is openly considering selling the arena and getting out of the ice arena business. The building would cease to be an arena and probably be leveled. Per the Superintendent, the school district expects to lose $2.25M in revenue per year due to the resulting decline in enrollment. The economic impact of that and the loss of thousands of annual visitors will be painful for the community.

The stands are a little large. Your legs dangle.

The special event at the Northfield ice arena was the annual 5-day Northfield Hospital Auxiliary Book Sale. This 60 plus year annual event, with a hockey rink full of donated books, raises a lot of money for the hospital. Many volunteers make this happen.

Thankful for the heated seated area. I guess typical seating for an ice arena but maybe a little something on those very hard, benches wouldn't be horrible thing.

Older arena, locker rooms are small, good concessions, decent bench seating, team benches are narrow. Well run facility.

Not bad, was warm so that's a plus. Seats were odd but not a big deal. Just remind your coaches we can hear everything, I mean everything said.

After not ice skating in 15 years. I finally gave it a go again. They turned down the lights and had music like the roller rinks did! I had a great time

Nice arena, good few, temperature was comfortable, but I noticed that the steps in the bleachers are uneven and witnessed a guy tripping and and luckily avoided a nasty fall.
