“The Grand Event Center is a unique wedding venue about 45 minutes south of Minneapolis. We love the venue for its charm and that it is unique from most other venues. One of the best parts about The Grand is the convenience they offer. They can be the ceremony, the venue, the bartenders, and the caterers. This made everything extremely easy in the planning process. Lindsay and Jake are energetic, fun, and made our day so special. They also serve the best breakfast on Sundays!”
“Good Friday night fish buffet. Very small crowd when we were there so ample time to visit at our table. They were setting up for dancing which they may be offering on weekends now.”
“Last evening, March 6th, 2026, a Joyful and Festive group of our Members, former & present Ministers, & Magnificant Friends celebrated the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Northfield's (UUFN) 60th ? Anniversary since our Fellowship was first founded on March 6th, 1966! ??
Armory Square was the perfect place to hold this celebration and we so appreciated this wonderful, beautiful. and easy to access Local Venue in which to hold our spiritual community's milestone celebration! Liz and our Bartender were so accommodating for our needs. We could set-up Their tables & chairs and the stage with Our decorations , memorabilia, catered food, DJ music for dancing, potluck desserts & enjoy Their Full Bar w/A & NA beverage choices, and enjoy an entire evening of Fun, Shared Stories, Delicious Food, and Music through those decades of our existence!
