The staff were friendly enough through this ordeal, but everything else about this service was awful. My package was late, which happens sometimes, fine. My issue is that I received a text messages from USPS to notify me that my package was out for delivery, my carrier did not have my package. So I called the Annex to see if it was up there? It was not, they said it should be with my carrier. So I get another 3 text messages stating that my package was at the Annex, and was ready for pickup. Great! I go directly to the annex, they then inform me that my package was mis-sorted, and will likely be delivered Monday. Again, the people I dealt with were pleasant enough, but this is absolute garbage. I paid extra for insurance to avoid this kind of mishap

Now they are just leaving packages at the street on Manning Ave. Not even attempting to bring packages up to the house. This post office has always been horrible. But now they are trying to set new standards of shittyness.

This postal AGAIN delivered a package to the wrong address. What is SO DIFFICULT about reading addresses before dropping off packages. I am just disgusted with this annex's very poor customer service.

Our mail service from this Postal Annex is awful. We have lousy mail service, when we get mail service. Just this last week, Saturday no mail, Monday Holiday, Tuesday we received 2 pieces of mail, Cub and Hyvee sale papers that had already expired, Wednesday no mail service I have been told because of the snow, Thursday no mail delivery, and now today on Friday, no mail service. This has been going on for a couple of weeks now with very sporadic mail delivery. I called OPH Annex when we missed our first day of mail a couple of weeks ago and was told that the carrier never showed up for work. My packages were not being delivered either. I am signed up for Informed Delivery with USPS so I know where my packages are sitting and they seem to sit up at the Annex for days. My last pkg before Valentine Day was suppose to be delivered on the Monday before. When I saw that it was still up at the Annex and not out for delivery, I called the Annex and was told that there would be another truck that delivers packages for that day. Next day it still was sitting up at the Annex with no delivery status. I called the Annex and was assured that it would be delivered that day. It was not and the next day when I tracked it, it showed that a delivery was attempted the night before but they were not able to access our house! What that means I don't know because we do not have a gate at our short driveway, nor is it a fortress, don't have a dog, street and driveway was cleaned of snow, and we were home that night and no one came to the door. Are they trying to cover up and make up stories that they attempted to deliver it? The next day we drove up and picked up our package ourselves. I asked to speak to the Annex's Supervisor and he was not willing to come out to speak to me about the issues of no mail or package delivery. Today after no mail again today, I called the Annex to see why we have not had mail service this week and was told we don't have a carrier to deliver mail in our area. He did not know if we were going to have mailed on Saturday either. I did call the 1-800 number today to USPS Customer Service to file a complaint BUT was told that the complaint will only go back to the OPH Annex, which means nothing will be done to fix our non delivery of mail. If there is no one higher up to complain to, then nothing will get fixed.
