Danielle at this location is kind, professionall, and extremely diligent when it comes to anti-fraud measures. She recently noticed an altered check from my workplace, and it made all the difference. I would absolutely recommend this bank.

I just had the WORST EXPERIENCE here with Laurel. She was incredibly rude and condescending after THEIR ATM stole 100 dollars from my bank account. She told me there was nothing I could do and to contact my bank which will be closed until Monday… When their financial institution literally stole the 100 dollars. The worst thing was her smug, mean smirk the whole time. Please do not go here. She made me feel absolutely awful, probably because I do not have a lot of money. I pray no one else has to go through this horrible experience! Hopefully she can get some kind of customer service training or just to treat people like human beings.

Closes at 5:00pm and not open Saturday or Sunday. What about the people that work 5am to past 5pm. Open back up on Saturdays get back to work.

Alerus is excellent overall. If you are looking for a home mortgage loan, Bob Austin and Pat Gleason are fantastic. Two major CEOs in the Twin Cities area use Alerus for their banking needs. The only down side is that they are not a credit union. Try Topline for a credit union. Skip TruStone. It is not only interest rates that matter, it is competency, professionalism, ethics, training, and experience too. Look at the whole picture and choose carefully.
