We had a great experience with our window replacement project. Our sales coordinator John F. worked closely with us throughout the project, even stopping by on the installation day. John was personable and professional. He answered all of our questions about the tiniest of details which reassured us that the process of replacement would go smoothly. He was honest in his statements about any delays or price changes related to these times of COVID. Travis H. And his group of installers were remarkable. They truly worked as a team with clear communication; from handling the windows through cleanup at the end, they were top notch. Our large picture window was designed to replace the original 1960 Andersen window. It turned out better than we could have imagined. Watching four individuals carry that massive piece of glass up the front walk and stairs and into a brick opening was worthy of video recording. The end result is exactly what we hoped for from materials, ease of opening and pure beauty. I highly recommend using Great Plains for your Window Installation project.Service: Window installation

Working with Great Plains was a wonderful experience from the first meeting to completion of our project. Our installation experts John & Dan were professional and knowledgeable. I appreciate the time they took to explain the process, the care they took with our home, and their efficiency in severely cold temperatures.Service: Window installation

The team we worked with was wonderful. They communicated with us every step of the way and answered all of our questions. They found a crown molding to match the original crown we had and surpassed my expectations. We are getting a door installed as well, and I am looking forward to the same attention to detail we had with our window.Service: Window installation

We wanted the best windows and doors for our home which requires the best installers/finishers as well. The Great Plains team all did an absolutely fantastic, and outstanding job on our project. We had 23 openings, totaling 32 units, including 3 patios doors. We forecasted we would run into a couple of issues due to lack of maintenance from the former owner, and each time we did the Great Plains team had a set of options to assure our home would be fixed the right way, guaranteeing there would be no further issues – and they lived up to their promises. We absolutely love our beautiful new doors and windows. Not only do we get compliments from everyone that sees them, our energy efficiency has increased tremendously. Further – we were amazed how much quieter our home is – no more hearing neighbors car doors; even the leaf blowers are barely noticeable.Want to again personally thank: Tony, Tony, Mack, Luke, Travis, Nick, Adam, and Mark with his staining/finishing crew – we couldn’t be happier.

I'm slowly replacing the windows in our home and have been using Great Plains for three years now on three separate projects. Every time they've been wonderful to work with from being on time, courteous, patiently answering all my questions, revising quotes to add something/remove something and more. Their installers are very professional in taking care of the home and cleaning up after themselves. I've used their contractors to paint and/or stain the trim as let's face it, they'll do a better job than me.Service: Window installation

We needed service to fix our Andersen windows that would not stay up when opened. These guys were recommended by Andersen. The service guy, Jim, said it was easy and I could do it myself. It was anything but easy, especially for the bottom panes and especially if you're not a good DIY person. I'm sure it's easy for them but they're trained. But I ended up with a window that completely fell out and then we had a rainstorm.I had to really slam the top panes down hard to get them to re-engage. I was afraid I was going to break them. Just bouncing them down a little, like he told me to, didn't work.On the bottom panes I couldn't see any way to get the strings back on the rollers/balancers without removing the entire bottom pane. On the lower pane the string is extremely hard to get back on the wheels. I also didn't know that the side spindles that go in the tracks are flat on 2 sides so you have to hold the window horizontal and tilted slightly to remove them and get them back in the tracks (something pretty important that Jim forgot to mention). The plastic side molding and rubber trim and a little square fuzzy piece popped off in the process and had to be reinstalled and I didn't know how they went on. After several hours with 2 people, YouTube and a lot of sweat I finally got the lower panes back in place. He gave me none of this information but was happy to charge me $150 for 1 hour to come look at them.

Adam Swenson was our go to guy. We had all of our windows replaced by Great Plains. Not only are the windows awesome, price decent, they kept the job site spotless! I don't know why anyone would go to anyone else.

We hired Great Plains to install a front door for us after another company (Pella) did an install incorrectly and were unwilling to fix it. We were very pleased with every step of the work GP did for us, from the initial consultation to the final installation they were professional, trustowrthy and easy to work with. The door they recommended for us is working beautifully. Definitely recommend this company!

The windows turned out fantastic - they completely change the house's curb appeal. Our sales consultant, Adam provided great recommendations on the windows. Our installers, Luke and Tony were great company to have and put in quality work. A+++
