Hy-Vee Pharmacy has been a mixed experience for customers. While the pharmacy staff are generally knowledgeable and helpful, the overall experience has become more complicated since switching from Walgreens. Customers now have to show ID and sign slips for prescriptions, and the pharmacy app can be difficult to navigate. Additionally, there is a persistent loud buzzing noise from the microphone that makes visits unpleasant. However, the pharmacy has also received praise for its excellent customer service. Customers have appreciated the honesty of the pharmacists and counter staff about medication availability and their overall courtesy. The Hy-Vee bakery, in particular, has been a highlight, with customers raving about the delicious muffins, cookies, and cupcake cakes. Overall, Hy-Vee Pharmacy seems to be a well-regarded grocery chain, with friendly and helpful employees. While the pharmacy experience has some frustrations, the bakery and other aspects of the store continue to impress customers.
The Self checkout is half open, and when you have to checkout the scanners misread the items and it requires one of the workers to assist almost every time it is used. And then it takes somebody to realize what's going on about another minute sometimes two. The whole process is very slow and tedious.

This is probably the best grocery chain in America. Watch out for the daily deals because those can't be beat. Employees are super friendly and helpful. Looking forward to their further expansion not only in Minnesota, but the rest of the country as well.
