This camping world in particular are a bunch of scam artists and will charge you for whatever they can. I brought my trailer in cause I bought a new truck and wanted the distribution hitch adjusted to the new truck. So I bring it in to them and they charge me $200 for one hour of shop time to adjust the hitch. I don’t agree as it only took a half hour but whatever some shops have an hour minimum. So I hook everything back up, get back to the campsite and have problems with my main slide out. I take it back, they charge me another $200 for an inspection only to tell me that all the mechanics in the slide out need to be replaced and it would be $4k. I told them I would take care of it as I just bought the trailer and $4k seemed real steep. So I pick up the camper and go back to the camp ground. Now my camper has cameras on it inside and out. I decide to look at the video because the slide out barely looks moved from when I brought it in. The mechanic tried to open the slide out but when it went off center immediately he stopped and closed it. They was what they charged $200 for and then just decided that every part in the slide needed to be replaced for $4k. Needless to say I took it to 2 other places to get a second and third opinion. Neither of the other two places had any where close to the estimate camping world did. It is now fixed for less than $1200. I for sure wouldn’t do business with them. I am actually working with my lawyer to sue for fraud. I would personally avoid all camping worlds from what I have seen.

Don't go to this place. They will annoy the shit out of you if you give them your information. They wouldn't stop for weeks with calls, texts, and emails. Even after we told them we just wanted to look and were a couple years away from purchasing. Go next door to Hilltop, great people and they leave you alone. Stop giving bad businesses your money.

This place deserves 0 stars. We got our travel trailer back in May from here and my husband, myself and my father regret it. Would NEVER recommend this place to anyone and will NEVER EVER be back. This place (Blake in finance specifically) was horrible and very sketchy and managed to add 10,000 in bull**** warranty and covered it up by saying we managed to get you just under $400 for ypur monthly. Our travel trailer sticker price was only 25,999 and we ended up being charged just over 41,000 then when signing the paperwork my disabled father did not realize the price discrepancy as he was in the finance office alone while they took my husband out to learn how to do the hooking up. NEVER go here we spent months and multiple calls into corporate as well as to this location to try to remedy this probably. Would love nothing more than to bring our travel trailer back to them and be done with the whole thing!

Camping World in Oronoco isn't my favorite place to step foot in. When you walk in you are greeted by a front desk person who is on their personal phone playing who knows what game and you barely get a friendly hello. Meeting our salesperson, Brad, went fine. He was newer to the sales world but tried his best to be knowledgeable with all of our questions and concerns. We were looking for a used camper and under 20k. We found the perfect one. We walked through it and checked it all out. We were going to think about it for the weekend, so we put a $500 deposit down. The only things we were concerned about was the above shower "window" had come unsealed so they would need to reseal/replace that and the soon to be dead battery which Brad said would be no problem, and they would charge it up for us if we decided 100% that we would want this camper. We left for the weekend and came back Monday to settle up with the finance manager Blake and do the final walk through. The walk through went fine, but they didn't reseal/replace the above shower "window" but did so after we noticed again. The battery was charged up, but of course there was a wrench thrown in with that. While settling up with Blake (finance manager) he told us (in the final numbers) that they were charging us $400 for a brand-new battery that we didn't even ask for. He said that they put a new battery in all the campers, and we declined to pay $400 for a new one and would bring our own in. He became arrogant, red faced, and short. They were also charging us $1k for a "set-up" fee. Why would we pay for a set-up fee on a 2014 used camper? After going through all the warranty information (that he put in the final numbers), we also declined those. Blake again became short and annoyed. We went over interest rates which he had 10% and I went shopping around at my bank which had a lower interest rate at 7.64% so of course we went with the lower of the two. Again, he was red faced and annoyed. He had to plug in all the new numbers and seemed very annoyed and short tempered about that as well. While typing he was pounding aggressively on his keyboard not saying a word. It made both me and my boyfriend feel awkward and uncomfortable. We apologized for being "a hassle" and he had no words. Blake was overall rude, arrogant, and not friendly. Hard to believe that he is a finance MANAGER. We settled up, feeling unsure about even going through with the deal because of the way Blake treated us in that finance room. If it wasn't THE PERFECT camper for us, I would've spoke up and said, "actually, the way you are treating us; your customers, we are not going to go through with this sale." But we ended up signing the papers feeling unsure and awkward about the whole thing. We left with no handshake, no congratulations, and no sense of fulfillment. After leaving I spoke to my mom who is a returning a loyal customer of theirs and she had to do something about it and call Ryan, the Sales Manager. He was the most helpful in this WHOLE experience. He gave us the $400 battery; he gave us the $1k set up fee, and he gave us a sense of relief that Blake lacked and let us know we may have skipped the "negotiation" part of things. Which that is not the customers job to put in the order of things. My cashier's check was more than what we agreed on and was refunded that the next day! Blake "apologized" by saying normally we have everything negotiated before finalized things that's why I maybe came off the way I did. It just wasn't convenient for him, so he acted sour and rude. That was his excuse. I would not recommend going to camping world in Oronoco if you can avoid it. I do appreciate the attempted apology but will not be returning my business with Camping World in future sales.

Bryon in retail parts depart was very understanding, helpful and all over seems like he enjoys doing his job. I can express how helpful he was. I hope camping world notices everything he does. I really can’t thank him enough for everything he did for the little bit of time I was there. Definitely will be using them again.

Bought a new camper, used it twice and the bearing blew, now it sits back on the lot until the warranty company clears to fix it. Manager don't care, he's got 200 other customs to deal with. Staff laughs at you when you're angry. Nothing but regrets

We purchased a camper from Camping World in Rapid City and my mother in law lives in Minnesota. Because of this she signed at this dealership in Orinoco and we signed in SD. She worked with Blake. He was extremely rude to her. She denied extra service coverage several times, which seemed to upset him. Then her name was spelled wrong on the paperwork. When she noticed this mistake and told him, he took it from her hands and threw it in the garbage and told her to wait in the waiting room until a new one was printed. He was rude and disrespectful. If we would have had him from the start, Camping World would have never received our business.

Purchased a new camper a year ago have had it back several times for service and repairs the electrical has been a major problem the GFI has to be reset all the time they said there was a bad wire some where but they have never fixed it. Today I picked up my camper after leaving it there to be fixed last week and the service manager told me they didn't bother to look at it wish we would have never dealt with Oronoco Camping World there has got to be a better place to deal with

I would stay away from Camping World. Always make promises that they CAN'T or won't honor. Oronoco Mn location at least has better service and will try to work with you. But Camping world as a while is a giant scam of a company...

Yesterday my husband & I walked into Camping World, met with the receptionist- she was so lazy to get off her chair, needed some info from us. (First turn - off), then we said we wanted to look at some campers on the lot. A gentleman came in - started asking a questions where our credit was & how we need to fill out an app, I said first off we want to look & NOT fill out an app, we don't even know if we want to purchase here.
The sales associate Cory - said this is how we do things. I don't care, your lack of customer service SUCKS! You only asked for my husband's info, not mine & you spelt our name wrong.
You went to find a sales associate- we walked out the door to Hilltop next door. Best thing ever. If you are looking for a camper, RV, pop up, check these guys out, great customer service willing to help & show us around! Don't waste your time with Camping World!

Absolutely stay away from here if you’re a first time buyer, the prices seem great online but expect to pay 10/20k more then online price and expect parts to be missing that they used for other campers, Expect great customer service wile at camp world and expect to be ignored after your purchase. Hopefully I saved someone from a nightmare.

Bought a camper in November still waiting for the keys. Every time I call I get the runaround it's always somebody else's fault or it's in the mail and I never get it. I had to buy a new door latch just to secure the inside to feel safe. Sure would like some help so that I can lock my damn camper.
