I tried to go in the app and sign in like I always do but they shut it down an hour before closing. It stated to go in as a walk in. I have a 20 minute drive to the Otsego store and there was 20 minutes before closing. One person was getting their haircut and another stylist was available and I was told they were closed. I mentioned how much time was left and at most, my hair usually takes 10-12 minutes to cut. They said in a condescending way, if have to get it cut, I guess we’ll have to do it. I knew at that point, nothing good was going to happen. Normally, they don’t treat you so poorly. Extremely disappointed in their attitude.

At times to time do ypu only come across someone who actually knows how to cut hair. Great clip had never been a great experience. Only come here if you really need to. Uneven cut all the time.

This is the best location in the entire area, hands down. The negative reviews are from ppl who don't know how to tie their shoe let alone schedule an online haircut through an app that is as basic as it gets. The people that work here are wonderful. If you don't like the way your hair turned out- maybe you should book an appointment with a salon and pay $60- $200 for a haircut. Get real

Called to get my son a haircut, but they won't take reservations over the phone. Lady said I have to download an app to check in. It's so asinine to tell me that over the phone. Just take my reservation while I'm talking to you. Otherwise, what's the point of answering the phone in the first place? I know they have a policy, but they should act like human beings used to act and interact with customers who take the time to call them. Don't force customers to download a stupid app!

I had my haircut on 2/14/25, the customer service was great. I checked in online before I left home and was called back right when I got there. I showed her a pic of my short hair months ago saying I wanted that again but just a smidge shorter in the front so I could style it better. It was going good until I said I wanted just a little bit more off the front but not too much, she instantly took another 1 inch off of the back and started going to the front, I didn’t know what to say so I didn’t say anything because she already did it and now she needed to even it out. The cut got waayyyy too short on the mainly top and higher part of the sides :(. Then the front right looked long and bushy compared to the left so I asked her to trim that back and she went to the left side and cut that shorter before going to the right and barely cutting it. I finally said please just trim right on this spot and no where else. I am frustrated as I am going on my honeymoon with hair me and my spouse are not happy with. Will not be going back.

Great Clips gets a lot of hate - but honestly this location does a pretty dang good job. They have a solid set of stylists who have been there for a while so they know what they are doing. Have been going here for years and will continue to do so!

Third visit to this location. First two were with the same stylist. She was awesome. Attentive and took her time. This last visit was a good customer service situation, but the cut was terrible. Uneven top, leftover little hairs on the side and back. Stylist hardly even looked it over after she was done. It’s very much a “NEXT” type shop and you can feel it the whole time. The end result should be a great haircut, and this was far from it.

Terrible, Doesn’t even deserve one star..
Came in yesterday after calling and confirming that they could do a wash and style, within 15 minutes or less of me getting off the phone with them, I was in the store. Once I got there, they refused service to me and denied the mistake. Terrible service, Doesn’t even deserve a one star. Seriously, the worst service I have ever gotten. Looks like corporate should get in there and start retraining people they should properly treat customers, and not lie to them and make them waste their gas and time.
Requested style: I requested for a simple wash and style and my hair is shorter than my shoulders and they told me they couldn’t do it within the hour that they had before they closed, even though 15 minutes before I showed up, they told me that they could.

I’m pretty sure the person who cut my hair was intoxicated based on the smell of their breath. I will not be returning.
