Thumper Pond Resort is a destination offering golf, lodging, and event hosting in a setting with beautiful scenery and quiet, peaceful surroundings. The campground provides views of the golf courses and access to nearby hiking and walking trails. The hotel portion, however, needs updating with some rooms noted as having dark, peeling wallpaper and old faucets, though the rooms are generally described as clean, neat, comfortable, and very presentable. The resort is a highly recommended venue for weddings, with incredible wedding weekends reported. Event spaces accommodate groups perfectly for ceremonies, dinners, and cocktail hours, with delicious food and amazing setups. The staff receives exceptional praise for being helpful, understanding, kind, and easy to work with throughout the planning process. The on-site restaurant, TJ's, is a small and comfortable place for a good meal, located next to the pro shop. It should be noted that no breakfast is served on site. The golf course is beautiful and great, while the water park was out of service. The resort provides a special and perfect experience for events and getaways.
