Nice design facilitated building that is very clean inside and well maintained. Clean restrooms and vending machines. Plenty of parking and open picnic area around the facility.

One of the nicest rest areas I’ve stopped at!
Very clean and peaceful place to take a break. The bathrooms were spotless, and the whole area felt safe and well maintained. There’s also a lovely trail where you can walk your dog and enjoy the beautiful surroundings — it’s such a thoughtful touch for travelers with pets. Plenty of picnic tables and grassy areas to relax. You can tell this rest area is well cared for. Highly recommend stopping here!

Clean and beautiful, good place for a bathroom break

Awful place for truckers and anyone to catch rest at night as it's almost brighter than sunlight. Creepy women violating parking lines (red jeep parked wrong in a parallel parking spot belonged to a worker there.) and lurking around, intently watching folks doing their rest stop business, walking around their vehicles multiple times. It's all very creepy! The good is that the building inside is clean. Outdoor areas are rough with falling down structures. So, reign in the egregious excessive night time lighting and put that money toward structure repair and better mowing to keep the ticks at bay. And, make staffing changes so workers have enough to do rather than creeping out travellers.

Nice spot to stop and stretch your legs. Modern facilities and truck parking. There are a couple trails you can go on that lead down to the river that I would've liked to explore if we had more time. Unique new looking playground.

Plenty of parking and we'll away from interstate noise. They had pet and kid area. Bathrooms were clean, but just air dryers. Vending machine was skipped due to the prices

I really like the set up of this rest area for trucks, easy in and out. What kills me about this rest area is how badly it is maintained. The grass looks like it hasn't been cut in a few months, and I walked in there this morning to see toilet paper on the floor in the welcome area. I know that the custodian was there cause I could hear a phone or a TV coming from their little office room. If this place was cleaned up and maintained better, it could definitely be the best rest area on 35 in Minnesota.
