Owatonna Public Utilities offers outstanding service and response to any problems. The dedicated staff and great employees are praised. A suggestion is to limit tours to a maximum of 10 people, as larger groups made it hard to hear the guide and see the tour. When a tree fell and cut a power line, dispatch notified a customer of an outage, OPU restored power within two hours, weekend.

Only suggestion more tour max of 10 people. We did 6 tour and it difficult to hear what tour guide was saying . Too many people to see what tour was showing.

We had a tree fall and take our power line down while we were away from home. Amy at dispatch quickly notified me that our meter was showing an outage, and within 2 hours of the event OPU had us back up and running. Thanks for taking great care of us- especially on the weekend!
