We have a summer place just outside of town. I drove up 3 hrs to check on our place. And needed to empty my SD card in my camera. We dont have service out their so I drive to town, stop at cenex like I always do. Get something to drink, the clerk never said Hi, I asked if it was okay I sit in the parking lot so I have service to download my pics. I was way off to the side, wasnt in anyones way, she said they have a 15 minute limit if Im still their, she will call the cops. Really ??? This is where I get all my fuel, etc when we are up here. She didnt thank me, no words, just a grumpy cashier. Guess I wont be stoping here anymore.

Clerk doesn't want to do his job. Apparently checking out three items bothers him. He never said a word, just eye rolls and sighs. Someone should at least give him a Thank You sign. Tip: bigger better gas station down the street.

Entering this store I was greeted with a cheery "Hi" and a smile, which doesn't happen too much anymore. I could the clerk greet everyone that walked in that afternoon. The store has the usual amount of soft drinks and a bit of everything else. There was limited food selection in mid-afternoon that wasn't for the microwave. I managed to find one of the last cold ham and cheese sandwiches and helped myself to self-serve coffee which turned out to be fresh. Located not far from Itasca State Park this turns out to be an easy quick stop right on the highway, gas up, eat up, drink along the way to go.

Young lady working there when I was there is always professional and friendly. Great to see some people like her with a smile all the time. You store was clean, stocked and you had my brand of smokes. Your location in Park Rapids get a 5 and the young lady gets a 5 in your rating system. Old Guy. Steve?
