Super clean and spacious rooms. Staff is great. My local humane society never has room for cats and kittens--not even for emergencies. Headwaters has always taken abandoned kittens I find--especially bottle feed age--and I'm not even in their county. I recommend this shelter if you are looking to adopt a friend.

We had a wonderful experience adopting our dog from them. They were very responsive to our emails and answered every question. They helped arrange a meet and greet with our resident dogs. We got an amazing dog and we will be back when we're ready to adopt another.
