Do not go through the car wash. I had a monthly subscription it damaged my vehicle when I went back and said that it was from their car wash they said it’s highly unlikely. Then they “reviewed” their tapes and said my vehicle had all of this random damage previously which is a lie. They also said my vehicle was too old for them to even be able to fix anything. It’s a 2015 and was in excellent shape until I went to this place. What a waste of money

Very clean store and restrooms. Gas pumps are reliable and never out of service. Friendly professional staff. Great variety of snacks, drinks and much more. Definitely reccomend a stop to check this place out.

Evidently the car wash was having issues today with the people not getting what they paid for! I believe people cutting in line ahead of their turn(2lanes merge) if you can understand how that is. When I finally got up to go in to the car wash I told the guy that I had an ultimate car wash that I paid for. All he said was "we're having a lot of trouble today, after you're done you can go in and talk to them". Well hell I wait in line all that time and then tell ME to go in and talk to them! Evidently they cannot push a button on anything inside the car wash to MAKE SURE you get the wash you paid for! My car had a lot of dirt still left on it when I went to the detail area. I had to use alot of washcloths of theirs simply to clean my car after I got out! The lady who takes your money for the car wash complained about other customers why would I bother to go in , they obviously don't care.

Great Gas station that is clean and its a large building filled with a lot of items and also a side restaurant. A car wash is also here as-well making it very fancy.

Stopped for breakfast at the kitchen. Time was 7:52 am. Sign said Kitchen opens at 8. Girl behind the counter said she was closed, we said we’d wait the few minutes until open and she rudely said she wouldn’t be open until at least 8:15. Didn’t even ask what we might be interested in. No apology. We walked across the street to McDonalds. This happened on 7/25/23.

4/12/23 - We were in town and looking for diesel fuel. We saw this gas station and it looked nice and open since we were pulling a trailer. I don't believe I ever use a diesel fuel pump that is cleaner on the handle and the ground all around the pumps then this gas station. If I lived in this town I would surely be fueling up here most of the time. We did not go into the store so I cannot say anything about inside the facility.

We stopped at the Park Rapids store and had the best sandwiches in your deli. Sherry and Kelsey were very nice and very helpful.

RESPONSE TO POST BELOW: Good CYA response below, regardless, you’re 100% incorrect about the scratches existing prior to entering the car wash. In fact, I have video/pictures to the contrary and said that I would provide them once you provide the video you reference below, but you refuse to?!PUBLIC: To clarify, my review/complaint is specific to this incident, my experience with Dane and the $1000 damage to my vehicle. It’s not a representation of the Park Rapids store or Simonson as a whole. My insurance is taking care of the damage. I’m extremely disappointed/discouraged with Danes conduct in handling this matter and that he didn’t step up and do what is “right”. He didn’t even offer to reimburse me my deductible which is significantly less than the damage. My complaint and low rating is specific to the Park Rapids station car wash and “Dane” an employee at Simonson. Their new car wash scratched my vehicle resulting in $1000 of damage and they refused to pay for it. I took my vehicle to a local Park Rapids body shop who said that they’ve repaired several vehicles that were also damaged by the Park Rapids car wash.BEWARE…apparently this is a common occurrence and other vehicles have incurred damage by their Car Wash and based upon my experience with the above Simonson employee (Dane) I can only assume Dane stiffed those customers as well.

The store is great in many ways. This review is about one specific employee. Been stopping in here every couple of weeks for the past year and have seen Cory at work numerous times during that timeframe. Without exception, he is one of the friendliest, most helpful, and genuine employees I have seen in that role anywhere. Stop in here if you need a dose of kindness while in Park Rapids. Thanks for being a great human Cory.
