We were passing through from out of town when our alternator gave out and we were stuck near Pequot Lakes on a Friday afternoon. We called two nearby mechanics that we found online , one could help us in two weeks the other didn’t answer the phone. Then a Good Samaritan advised us to call Dotty Auto. Jamey called us back and was able to locate the part and he went the extra mile helping us limp the car to his shop when the towing company didn’t answer the phone. Jamey is a problem solver, a skilled mechanic and a man with integrity! From the time I first called until we were back on the road was 90 minutes. My only wish is that we had a mechanic of Jamey’s caliber near where we live. I highly recommend him for any and all your auto repair needs! Thanks again Jamey! We missed the wedding ceremony but made it to the reception and dance and even survived the big storm in Bemidji that night.

Had a flat tire and no air anywhere in town, I went there and they filled it up enough I could get me and my 2 kids 20 miles home safely.

I live outside Des Moines Iowa. I went in with a check engine light on in my diesel pickup and he came right out and diagnosed it right away and didn't even charge me. I tried to pay him and he refused anything for his service, he said he doesn't leave anyone stranded. I can't thank him enough for his help. Please don't pass this man up if you need work done on your vehicle.

Had a tire punctured by a screw while on vacation in Pequot Lakes, so I drove in to Jamey's quickly while my tire still had some air and Jamey fixed us up and got us on our way in about 15 minutes. He was very friendly and I couldn't be happier with the whole interaction. Thank you, Jamey!
