We camp here the weekend after Labor Day every year and really enjoy this quiet campground! As an added bonus, there's a beautiful golf course on the property! O ly reason I couldn't give it 5 stars is because their dump station was filled to the top and smelled like, well, you know.

The restrooms used to be nice and clean, now they are neglected. One of our campsites has had a tarp covering the electrical panel for years. This was a very well taken care of place, now gone to disrepair.

Great campground, quiet during the week. Busy on weekends. Swimming hole for the kids, right next to the golf course. Plenty of shade.

Small sites, no sewer hook up at sites. Dump station overflowing by early Sunday morning, be prepared to take your waste home!

Loved this place. Just out of town next to the golf course. Friendly staff and spacious sites.

Too many under age kids driving golf carts and atvs back and forth to the swimming area. I counted one particular one make 34 trips in 3 hours. Having only one entrance/exit to the campground and dirt roads, this leads to a lot of dust. Also sites are too small and crowded together, no privacy at all from your neighbors. Primitive for the most part. Only a few with 30 amp service, fewer yet 50. Water at sites, but undrinkable. No trash collection barrels. There is a playground and toilet/shower building. 2 showers in the men's side, one large, one small. Bathrooms were clean. Sign says closed after 8pm ... don't believe it, we had headlights shining on us all night long. They advertise internet, but signal is very weak, unusable. Sites are not paved or even gravel. You park on the grass. Only 1 pull through site that I saw. Nice shade from all the trees. Bring everything you need or go into town as they don't sell staples at the office. Golf course next door if you golf. We paid $80 for 2 nights, left after the first night.

Dirty beach area, kids swearing, adults fighting, another camper was parked in half of my mom's spot and the woman was yelling inappropriate things at my mom because my mom asked her kids to stop touching her camper and cutting through her site. My mom's fire ring was under the other camper and the campground person moved the fire ring basically under my mom's awning instead of making the other camper move off the site.I was not able to bring my family out to put our tent up because there was not enough room to set up our tent. That is how close the other camper was. I also could not put out the handicapped ramp to the camper because it would not fit. My daughter was looking forward to camping with grandma for the night, guess it was not happening because we could not get her ramp in.The park manager did not resolve conflict so my mom ended up leaving. 21 years of family reunions here and we will not be back again. That's 5+ families that will not be back, disgusting behavior ruined all of our weekend.

EDIT SEPTEMBER 2021:Took off 2 stars because the management has changed to rude unhelpful people. They have switched to online reservations, but it doesn't show where the big power box is online (it's in between sites 20 and 21, in the "patio" of 20) and we wanted to know before making the reservation because we knew that box might possibly be in the way of our slide out. We phoned the office but they couldn't be bothered to walk over and look, and suggested a site with a really tight turn instead, which we said wouldn't work for our motorhome. The manager said that she sees big rigs in there all the time and maybe we shouldn't be driving something so big if we couldn't handle it! ???????????? Excuse me?!? 1. I bet those are trailers or fifth wheels she sees making that tight turn and 2. Even if we were not experienced driving our motorhome, who talks to customers like that?!?We had no problems for our actual stay, but honestly if this campground wasn't so convenient for visiting locals, we probably wouldn't have stayed this year or ever again with their customer service. Get some training please!ORIGINAL REVIEW: Nice quiet campground, nicely maintained, nice staff. None of the sites are paved, but there is gravel, and I think the ground is pretty firm. There are some pull-through sites, and a few 50 amp sites, and all of the sites have water and electric, but no full hookups (except possibly the seasonal sites...) There is a small playground, but just across the footbridge is a golf course, park (including a larger playground), swimming area, and picnic pavilions which have electricity. We've stayed here several times, and the only time it wasn't quiet was when we unknowingly came during Freedom Fest. Also, the high school is very close, so it might be noisy for a football game, but that's just a guess.
