Absolutely loved our horseback riding experience here! The 400acre land is so pretty and you get to experience some different terrain on the ride (through and along the river, in open land, through birch trees, through tall bushes). We got super lucky and got to see them let the horses out of the stable. They said they do this to “let them go be horses and roam the 400acres. I loved this! Just such beauty all around.

Absolutely amazing place to go. My boyfriend and I went on the 2 hour trail ride today and it was nothing short of amazing. Highly highly recommend to anyone - whether you're new to riding or experienced (this was our first time). :)

Drove an hour and 40 minutes one way to do a sunset tour for sons birthday. Had originally scheduled for one date and had to call and reschedule over a week in advance. Thought all was fine and everything was confirmed. Show up to no one in the office. After messaging the number provided was told sorry for the miscommunication can we reschedule for tomorrow but we cant make it happen today. So made the hour and 40 minute drive back home with a sad little boy. Won't be making the long drive again with price of gas and over 3 hour round trip drive, unfortunately because the land was beautiful.

staff was rude, their feet were HORRIBLE! i mean like half of their horses' feet was grown out or either chipped to the point 90% of them couldn't even trot. do not engage in this type of stuff!!

We had our kids here oh so many years ago and now we bring there kids and it's still awesome as ever very knowledgeable staff and very friendly

My friend and I had been wanting to ride horses together for a very long time and are SO GRATEFUL we chose Pine River Riding Stable! Even though we were complete beginners, our guide Jonathan was wonderful and helped ease our nerves! We will absolutely be back! Don’t forget to tip your guides, they deserve it!!!

My family and I had the absolute best time riding with our guide Rory. We had several kids and some adults that had never ridden before and the horses were so well behaved and the whole experience was amazing! I highly recommend Pine River Riding Stables and I can’t wait to return next summer!

Absolutely awful experience overbooked 3x groups, staff was rude- giggling and being rude to inexperienced riders, no one was notified there would be no bags etc on ride for over an hr and no place to put them and they wouldn't be liable for anything stolen and she didn't care she just worried about safety extremely rude older lady. Water wasn't allowed on rides regardless of temperature or length or ride

Pine River Riding Stables was an unforgettable experience! As a first-time rider, I had visions of channeling my inner Rip from Yellowstone—thankfully, Hot Shot was a lot more forgiving than a wild stallion. My wife, a Heartland fan through and through, bonded instantly with sweet Lacey. Our guide Clara was incredible—friendly, professional, and made the whole ride relaxing and fun. It was peaceful, scenic, and just the kind of adventure we both needed. Whether you’re dreaming of the Dutton Ranch or Heartland Ranch, this place delivers. We’ll definitely be back!

Called at noon to see if we could get in for a ride. They were booked, but could take us the next day. The two of us went out privately with our guide Rory. $41 for an hour guided trail ride. A few extra $ for fee if paying by credit card. $85 for two.
Large family run business, about 100 horses. Great for families & kids of all ages. They will tailor the ride to your taste & riding experience.

My 13 yr old granddaughter n I went on a guided ride. It was so fun. Staff very nice and knowledgeable. (And patient with my inexperience). Horses were well mannered.... and beautiful. I plan to send my granddaughter on a day camp. We will definitely go back.

Had a great time with my family riding horses. I guess no matter how big you are they have a horse for you. Any skill level. Such helpful folks. My horse was named Hope and it was ginormous!

Fantastic trail ride. The guide asked about everyone’s comfort and those who were comfortable got to canter and gallop. It was so fun going so fast! Walking though the stream was fun too. Plus they did a shorter ride for my autistic son who was really nervous. They are great with him too. I cd t say everything great things about this real ride. The best we’ve ever been on.

We go there every year as a family and it is always an amazing experience! The staff is wonderful, the scenery is heavenly, the horses are amazing, and it’s truly one of our most treasured family traditions!!!
