“I had a package stuck in a loop between my home and the cities but never made it out for delivery. A wonderful gentleman from the post office called me to let me know he drove to Nisswa to personally find it, brought it back to the Pine River Post Office and held it for me until we could pick it up.
That standard of customer service is hard to find. I hope USPS values him highly.”

“I'm not going to spare words, nor try to be impartial. THIS POST OFFICE is the very BEST in the United States! OK, OK, I know, I know...you want me to "get off" this high horse and back down to the ground, but I shall not. I truly mean this...whether it is the simple joy of mailing a letter, receiving guidance on the best WAY to send a certain package, or simply the "neighbor nice" tone of the ensemble working here ~ The Backus Post Office beats all! I have met very kind people in Hackensack, in Walker, and in the Twin Cities...but this post office AND their carriers go above and beyond. Proof? Proof, you say? OK..OK...you've 'pushed me' to it. Below is a photo or two. Our carrier has made our dogs believe in Santa Claus. And Santa is a "SHE!!!" For months, they have gotten "boney treats" in the mail. And further....when we are out for a walk, she stops and slips them through her window. My golden CHASES her USPO jeep down the road. And Robin is 16 years old! She RUNS to greet our carrier! OK, hopefully you now believe me, if you've read all of this. Five, would do SEVEN stars if I could! Photo proof below of our two year old, Inga, greeting her!
