“I had a neglected pen at home and cleaned it with rubbing alcohol. Ink would not flow. The very nice young man at recycler advised me to never use rubbing alcohol again. He cleaned the nib with ultrasound and recommended better ink cartridge. I now have a restored perfectly working pen that I need to treat with greater respect. The helper (owner's son) could not have been nicer. Great customer service. I think his fingers are permanently stained with ink smudges”

“Had the nicest experience at this location today. Was looking for an item that was not on the shelf and one of the employees (Kennedy) went in the back and grabbed the items i was looking for. This is above and beyond good service and this employee along with a few others seemed very kind and couldn't of been nicer. “I made a purchase online because another store told me they didn't have the item. I was in the other store and saw that they did have the item, and it was on sale. I went to Michael's feeling badly that I had to pick something up and return it immediately. The young man at the counter was so polite and helpful. I told him that he had very good customer service skills. I don't know if this can get back to him, but it was Michael's in Maple Grove, Minnesota, and the gentleman had very long, long hair.”
