Does not value patient's time.I was sent an email to arrive at 7:30 am to drop off my dog for his teeth cleaning. When I arrived, the door was locked. There was a sign on the door to call a specific number if the door was locked, so I did. No answer, so I attempted to call their normal number. No answer. I waited a few minutes and attempted the number on the sign again. After the 3rd attempt someone finally answered. They let me know someone would be right out to open the door. I waited 10 additional minutes after that conversation, and no one showed up. I attempted to call the same number a few more times and each time no one answered. A little after 7:45, someone arrived for their shift and let me in as they were entering. Why was I told to arrive at 7:30, when the hospital isn't even open yet? Why wasn't I informed by the person on the phone that It may take 10-15 minutes before I could be let in? If I were to show up 20-30 minutes late, I doubt my dog would be seen. All around a terrible experience.

Vet Partners in Plymouth were wonderful when we had an emergency with our 14 year old Boston Terrier. They kept him for observation and found a condition that needed to be taken care of, while also taking care of his emergency. Everyone there were very caring and helpful. Would not hesitate to use them again.

This is an email I just sent to the U of M Veterinary Urgent Care today (25 Jan 2024) about this wonderful staff:"Thank you for the referrals. I found an excellent vet practice in Plymouth closer to my home, "Vet Partners", Plymouth location. The care was excellent and compassionate, and I know that Joey received the best care anyone could offer. Unfortunately, Joey needed to cross the Rainbow Bridge due to a painful spinal condition, and they took very good care of both of us during the entire process. I highly recommend this place. And I owe you a huge debt of gratitude, if it wasn't for you, I would not have known to bring Joey there, as I was in no shape to cold call various urgent care vets. Joey passed away with dignity in my arms, knowing he was loved, thanks to this staff at Vet Partners, Plymouth".I have had to help 2 previous senior cats cross the rainbow bridge, and the other clinics were kind and compassionate as well. But Vet Partners Plymouth even took care of me and supported me through the process, as I was alone that day and pretty much dealing with Joey's illness on my own. I'm a Licensed Drug & Alcohol Counselor, and in my line of work we have a couple phrases, "person-centered care" and "The caregivers took care of the caregiver". I received that as well, and they did not have to do that. I'll be transferring Edna, my one eye'd, torti, 12 yr old Bobtail, to their care. Thank you to all that worked on Wednesday, 1/24/2024, you went above and beyond. Ann P.

I've been going to this vet for 8 years. Recently, it seems like their cost has gone up EXPONENTIALLY. Also, their quality of vet care is not consistent. My dog had eye issues, so I went in. They diagnosed him and stated he needed cryotherapy, which would be around $500. We did it. Less than a year later, his eye issues returned. They stated there was some hairs on his lids that were missed and we would have to do the entire procedure again, which would be another $500. I was incredibly frustrated this was even an issue since I wasn't told it could even be a possibility. I opted to go to an eye specialist and switch my primary care vet.My aunt also had a similar experience where they quoted her $500 for a "necessary" nasal flush for her dog, charged her full office visit cost, but she declined the procedure. They were supposed to call her back, but she didn't hear, so she called and they told her to come back in. The 2nd vet gave them antibiotics, but they still charged the full office consultation for this visit as well.Don't be afraid to call around to other vets in the area.

If you are expecting compassionate care from this hospital, you will not find it. My cat became very ill last week and declined rapidly overnight. We already had an appointment made with our regular vet at 4:15 pm that day, but his condition had declined so quickly and unexpectedly we were concerned that he might be dying. We tried to move up our regular vet appointment, yet our vet was unsure they could accommodate .They suggested we call Vet Partners, which we did. Vet Partners made us an appointment at 10 am and charged a $78.80 deposit. Right after I hung up the phone with them, my regular vet called us to let us know they could see us at 11:30 am. We called Vet Partners to cancel the appointment TWELVE minutes after making the appointment. I noticed we had already been charged for the deposit and was hoping this would be reversed since we held the appointment spot for less than 15 minutes. We ended up having to euthanize our cat that day at my regular vet and I still have a $78 charge on my card from Vet Partners 4 days later. No services were rendered and won't be in the future because my cat is gone. I requested a refund, which they told me was against policy and they would not honor.I can't say that I've ever felt more taken advantage of by a business. It feels even worse that this is a place we turned to for help during a very dark time; when we were panicking and didn't understand why our cat was dying. They failed to show us any compassion. We did receive an autogenerated email the next day wishing my cat a happy birthday, not 24 hours after he died. It was not his birthday.Do not call these people if you find yourself in a similar situation. Their policies are predatory.

We highly recommend Vet Partners. We felt like our dog was in great hands the entire time he was with them. Meagan, who scheduled our appointment and did our intake, was super friendly! Dr. Greene is very knowledgeable, caring and skilled. Dr. Greene, Lisa and all the staff took great care of our dog. We will be going back to Vet Partners for all of our veterinary needs.

I was absolutely blown away by the outstanding customer service we received today that I just had to leave a review. Our Rottweiler unfortunately fell ill overnight and it was very scary. I called vet partners after being referred to them from our typical vet we go to and spoke to (I believe..?) Amanda. She was nothing short of kind, empathetic and did everything she could to accommodate us and eventually got us an urgent care visit. I was audibly upset and frantic through this call and she remained calm the entire time. When we arrived they immediately brought us back and again showed nothing but kindness. The tech thoroughly went through pricing, procedures etc. and made us feel super comfortable moving forward. Dr. Temple made sure to call us following our drop off multiple times - updating us and giving us complete transparency. He answered all questions/concerns with professional yet empathetic verbiage. We will be bringing our pets to this clinic from here on out! Thank you!

I have been bringing my dog here for almost three years. I will say the staff are phenomenal and truly love what they do! I trust their knowledge and the quality of care they give their furry patients. My dog LOVES coming to the vet and if that's not a good sign, I don't know what is.

My cat had a partially split nail and naturally it caused me a great deal of anxiety. Angie was such a great help and comfort with getting her scheduled for an urgent appointment 24 hours later. Dr. temple and the vet technician (I am so sorry I don’t remember her name) were SO caring and thorough with caring for my baby. The rooms were clean and the lobby was calm and quiet. Thank you for making what could have been a really terrible experience a good one❤️?

The best part about this vet clinic is that they got me in quickly.Other than that I wasn’t completely thrilled that they brought up all of the worst case scenario is when I found a bump on my cat like she’s going to need a chemo, radiation, and a CT scan. Also, explaining that there’s no way we could take half of her face off? Before they had even took a sample off of the bump.. pretty disturbing for a pet owner to hear when there is zero labs are testing done yet. I was also told the different price on the phone for a basic blood panel and biopsy which was also frustrating..Also wanted to prescribe an antibiotic, even though there was no signs and symptoms of infection including non-elevated white blood cells. All labs are normal sure why they would want to prescribe that with no signs of infection..

Lovely experience took care of my two puppies Bane and Hades and even helped me a little with the pricing. Looking forward to continuing working with them.
