“Very quiet and peaceful apartment to live in. Great location with lots of places to walk to. Other residents here are friendly and respectful. The building is kept up nicely and any maintenance that comes up is handled quickly and with good communication. Being a smaller building is a huge bonus too, management cares and communication is always good. Very happy to call Hearthwood apartments our home.”

“I’ve enjoyed living here. The community has people from all walks of life, and everyone is friendly—my neighbors always say hi and I’ve had zero problems with anyone.

The location is super convenient with a gas station and a Domino’s within walking distance, plus plenty of paths to walk on. Parking is usually easy, and garage parking is available for around $60/month (you do have to keep it for your whole lease) but it’s convenient if you want covered parking!!!!

Maintenance has been great and responsive every time I’ve put in a request. I see them zooming all over on there golf carts. My closet door broke and they put screws in it to fix it nothing fancy but works for me! The office staff is professional and helpful. The gym/workout/basketball area is clean, safe, and actually enjoyable to use, and overall the building feels secure. Kids and teens do like to go to the main building to play pool and listen to music. Feels safe and fun. Vending machines all over the property. So nice to have!

Rent is separate from internet and electricity, and there is a monthly service fee that covers trash, gas, water, sewer, and pest control. For me, it’s been about $100/month depending on occupancy. Laundry is $2.50 to wash and $2.50 to dry I believe.

I’d recommend. It is spendy keep that in mind. Living in such a big community nothing is perfect but they strive to make it. ?”

“I've lived at The Arbors for a little over a year now, and I love my apartment! It's a very unique place. The outside may look common, but the actual apartments are what I like to call a Brady bunch style. Large rooms and walk-in closets, sunken living rooms, 3rd floor fireplaces...with super unique floor plans and entryways, & lots of space! The management is a'ight. It's pretty typical for the most part. I want to shout out JaiSean. He's fairly new down in the office, but he's a great young man. He's thoughtful and kind, and I appreciate him, b'cuz I have a brain injury, and he never makes me feel problematic if I'm manic or upset when I call! That means a lot to me in a world where people often overlook and misunderstand people with disabilities. He's definitely an asset to the team, and hopefully, he'll rise and shine accordingly within the company!
I also like the maintenance man, Ryan. He's awesome and very timely. I've never waited longer than a couple of hours for him to come make repairs. He's also very kind and courteous! He's a neat guy, too! I enjoy chatting about our shared love of writing and art! Last but not least, Ginger the Manager. She's doing a great job as far as I can see! She's a little stern but super fair. I've not had any unpleasant interactions with her! I find her to be unbiased & there's no favoritism going on as far as I can tell & that's what I expect from an apartment manager. I had a bad experience at another property, with favoritism and biased employees, so that's what I'm concerned about, personally. Overall, I see myself living here for the foreseeable future. Im comfortable here, and I feel safe. That's a broad statement for me to make with PTSD. The building security is on point. Buzzer entry system and fire doors add to the safety factor. Good neighborhood, great neighbors for the most part. I would be lying if I said there weren't some bad apples, but that's to be expected in a place that accepts government subsidies. I'll share briefly that Emma was really delightful until she wasn't anymore. She's a friendly, kind person too but I think she became annoyed with me rather quickly. Brain injury can affect different aspects of ones personality, and some people dont know enough about TBI to navigate interactions, with TBI patients successfully, which says nothing about her persay... some people just don't navigate mentally ill people very well, and it makes some people uncomfortable. She made me feel some kinda way, but she was never openly rude to me! Overall, she was friendly and helpful when I was moving in. Maybe more about how to deal with people with disabilities in the training! ? I don't mean to upset anyone with my review, but I gotta be honest! I am happy to be here and grateful to have a voice.Thank you!! ?”
