Horrible pharmacy staff!!
I Tried to get a script filled (which shouldn’t be a problem because they already had the prescription and I’m also overdue for a refill ) but instead one of the pharmacist staff members I talked to said that “ I couldn’t pay for the full amount of of my script because I currently got switched to MA insurance and that’s not allowed”? What?!!
Side note: My new insurance I just got on wouldn’t cover the dosage amount prescribed until my insurance receives my prior authorization info from my doctor.

I've held off posting because I was hoping for improvement over time but now after a handful of issues I think I'm done. If you have the option to go elsewhere, I suggest you do. There are a small few staff there that are really nice and helpful but most are short, snotty, and lack empathy when you talk to them. Like they are busy and frustrated and take that out on cuatomers.

I’ve used them since they opened. I’m a very satisfied customer. I will continue to use them for my prescriptions.

After years of being forced to go to CVS due to insurance, Coborn’s pharmacy is a breath of fresh air. Fast, friendly, helpful. Logan is awesome!

My go to pharmacy! Always friendly and helpful. They have also found cheaper way to get my meds when money has been tough. Thanks!

Ramsey Pharmacy needs to keep pt/billing info in their files up to date. Recurring submissions to incorrect insurance is common place. Staff answering the phone are rude and disrespectful. They need to get it together.

They tell you they will contact you, but it doesn't happen. The staff are not friendly or helpful.

The worst Pharmacy ever! I saw the rating of 3.7 and went against my judgment to fill my prescription here. They will not call you when the medications are ready, yet when you walk in there you will fond the staff just chatting. I have used Walgreens my entire life! with no problem and recently changed my insurance and Walgreens is out of network. Please go elsewhere!

The majority of the staff, with the exception of a few nice people, are rude, have an attitude, and lack empathy and basic customer service skills. I like Coborn's and still do. However, since the pandemic, I haven't been as impressed with the pharmacy inside.
I've had problems with getting shorted medication and voicing concerns about them filling a Schedule II incorrectly despite the bottle saying it was hand-verified and circled the quantity when it wasn't. "Well, we fixed it, didn't we?" they told me.
Moreover, a prescription I needed was backordered, which has nothing to do with Coborn's or this review, but the way the staff treats me remains an issue, which is why I'm writing this review. They are not happy to see you, talk to you, or help you if you approach them in person or through the drive-through. It seems that most of their workers are rude and unfriendly, especially their younger ones.
Whenever you ask them something, they give you short, unhelpful answers. They don't care about you and don't want to help you with your request, regardless of how simple or complicated it is. This is a consistent experience I've come to expect from the majority of the staff here since the pandemic.
Coborn's Pharmacy has decent fulfillment times and even though their hours have reduced in recent years, they still answer the phone. Still, it does not outweigh the downside. They're always annoyed with you, so plan on having a bad experience no matter how you interact with them.
Those who are new to town and reading this should take their business somewhere else because they don't deserve it. You know the problem generations, so it seems unreasonable to expect a smile and a hello in 2024, but Coborn's Pharmacy has a toxic culture.

The pharmacy staff are rude to customers! I was picking up my elderly mothers rx on 2/7/24 around 6 pm. I had 2 items to purchase & stated id scan up front as i wasn't finished shopping. I put my 2 items into the bag given for the rx as i was grabbing my credit card preparing to pay up front. Hands full, phone and purse in hand ready to get up front and bring my mom her rx. The pharmacist or PA says WE DIDN'T RING THAT UP. Yea, i know. You asked and i said I was heading up front to grab a couple more things and then hit the cashier. We had just discussed this! This young chic chimes in , YOU PUT IT IN A BAG, We think your stealing!!!!!!! Its weird! Okay idiot, stealing right in front of ya huh? This place put the nastiest taste in my mouth and i highly would not recommend! ( the store is beautiful, store emplyees are great but the pharmacy area knows how to belittle customers). I will be filing a formal complaint as i was spoken to like a child and thief. Others were present also. BOO COBORNS PHARMACY!

1/10/23 Our doctor sent a prescription to Coborn’s in Ramsey: an antibiotic they were out of due to nationwide shortages. I didn’t catch her name, but an employee at the pharmacy called around, found another pharmacy with the prescription we needed, and transferred our prescription so we could get it filled tonight. I am so grateful to her for her additional help, she went above and beyond!

Horrible management and bad ethics, Inflation is hitting everyone and they decide to put items on sale that are above the price of the actual item before any "special sale". Just lift the sticker that is posted on almost any isle at any given time. Terrible corporate management and is pretty racist if I do say so myself, whether its against customers or co-workers. You can see this whether on the customer or employee angle. Food just like cubs or Walmart, the usual GMO and processed garbage. Some "natural" items considering if you think spraying (round-up) or chemicals on organics anything natural or all of the micro plastic pollution to be "natural"A more expensive version of a county market and a glorified grocery store.
