Bought a car from here about two weeks ago, was asked to leave a review. When looking at the car asked about the three engine codes that were in the system, and was told they were old and didn’t matter. Dave kept hammering on the point that it had no codes. Car drove fine the first day with no codes. I come back down after I’ve bought the car and 3 minutes after pulling off the lot the same 3 codes are what is causing a check engine light, was told he couldn’t help with that which is fine. Noticed it starts smelling like oil when hot, turns out they detailed the engine so there were no obvious leaks beyond one I already knew about. When the car was looked at there was oil SOAKING the pan and it was discovered that the oil pan gasket has failed along with 2 other gaskets which was left to continue. Well that has left it soaking my hot exhaust and oxygen sensors with oil and causing them to fail. Now don’t get me wrong I’m not a trained mechanic but I’m pretty sure oil dripping on an extremely hot exhaust is probably a safety concern that could have been addressed at the dealership prior to owning which isn’t something that instantaneously goes out but happens over time. The car has less than 100k miles on it, seems like they didn’t really want to disclose or fix it or it is very possible from what I could gather that they didn’t really have someone look at it. Very negative experience, wouldn’t ever go here again based off how problematic the car has been already. almost 9000 car+about 1300 in parts for all the things the car needed for maintenance, if I wasn’t able to complete the work I would be out about 3000 at the bmw dealership for just the leaks alone. The oxygen sensors would have cost me another 800 EACH(3 went bad due to oil). Moral of the story if you see a car here, assume a few grand on top of that price for major repairs they “didn’t see.”

Highly recommend Diamond Auto! We purchased a vehicle from them a couple of weeks ago! We drove over 2 1/2 hrs just to look at it. We’re from a small town so believe in supporting small businesses vs big corporate businesses. They weren’t pushy, open & honest, even about the vehicle we thought about trading in. We dealt with both Ken & Dave and they worked well together and just knew how much we wanted the vehicle and did everything they could to get it into our driveway! The day we went to pick it up, it was detailed to complete perfection. Thank you Diamond Auto for a wonderful experience!

Stopped in while on our way to look at other vehicles in the cities. Found a car we liked and decided to continue to look at the other dealership we were on our way to. Ended up coming back. Dave was very nice and not pushy which was not our experience and the few other dealerships we had stopped at that day. Grateful for a smooth and easy experience.
