King Kong Hobbies is a nice shop with friendly, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable staff. Employees are always willing to help, answer questions, and will find out answers or order parts they don't have. The store is not huge but has a good mixture of products. It is a great supply of model cars, RC cars and planes, model cement, 3D wooden puzzles, and other things. It is considered the best RC store in the Twin Cities for Traxxas fans, with a big selection of Traxxas parts. While they pretty much sell Traxxas vehicles, they do have other vehicles and can get parts for them as well. Customers recommend stopping by if you are in the area.
King kong is a great local spot for traxxas cars and parts as well as a nice selection of batteries and consignment stuff, cool planes and helicopters on the ceiling. They also had balsa and foam planes as well as some other small trinkets and toys. They also have a small crawler course for small crawlers.

Nice set up. Lots of fun things to play with. Didn't see any RC snowmobile. Think that would be part of being a Minnesota store
