The clothing at this location is poorly organized. For example, I found a small item placed on an XL hanger in the medium section. This is one of many!
Additionally, customer profiling appears to be a serious issue at this location all of a sudden. One employee stood next to me for several minutes without explanation. As a person of color, I am unfortunately familiar with this type of behavior, sadly for them I am not a criminal. So their profiling game is entry level.
After selecting the items I was looking for, I went to the fitting room. The employee there appeared to assume I was stealing and called her manager to meet me as I exited. When she realized I was returning all but two items that fit, her reaction and facial expression made it clear that her assumption had been incorrect, and she abruptly said “nevermind.”
As I continued shopping, a male employee blocked my cart from entering an aisle. I had to park my cart and walk around him to continue browsing. I ultimately did not find anything else I wanted and proceeded to checkout.
For the record, I purchased every item in my cart. However, due to these experiences, I will most likely not return to this location. Profiling discourages legitimate customers from spending their money, and I strongly suggest additional employee training to address these issues.
