This is a great place to go. Very nice and quiet campground with friendly people. The lake was wonderful. They even have boat and pontoon rentals. The cabin was comfy and is very well set up. Thank you Pat and Gloria for everything we would gladly come back. 5 stars!!!

We rented a cabin for 4 days during the week. Perfect time to go. We met the owner & 3 people who take of the place. We could not ask for a better place to vacation. Its the perfect size vacation site. No other campers were here so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Now if we could just catch some fish. We still have one more day to try.

We just returned home from our stay at Hidden Acres Resort. It surpassed my expectations. Stayed in their newly remodeled apartment, for lack of a better term. It was very nice. Weather was very hot and humid, but we were quite comfortable in the air conditioning. Three very nice bedrooms.. Two had the most comfortable queen sized beds, and the 3rd had 2 single beds. The kitchen and dining room; very nice and homey.. There were all new stainless steal appliances. My grandson and I especially liked the ice and filtered water on the fridge. Of course the living room also decorated very comfortably and attractive with beautiful views of the lake. All bedrooms and the living room have a large flat screened TV with Roku. Also, there was WiFi/ Internet. Unfortunately that kept me indoors more than I should have, cause I don't even have basic cable at home.Really nice accomidations. Also, I was very surprised to see the provisions in the kitchen. If you forget to pack it (katsup, mustard, oil, coffee, spices, and much more) it is most likely there. The lake was beautiful, my 4 year old grandson spent much of the time swimming on the beach with his faithful dog watching. The beach area was clean a little small, but, perfect for him/us. Thankfully, Gloria(I hope that's right) the owners sister brought a life jacket over for my grandson to use while at the lake. So nice.Unfortunately we did not get a chance to go fishing. We will go back soon to fish. I heard from others that the fish were biting..I should mention. downstairs from our accomidations is a sort of bar/ restaurant. You can get a pizza, a beer, maybe soft drinks, chips....I could go on and on about the lovely accomidations the friendly owner, Pat, his sister Gloria, another sister and I think- her S.O., and Morgan all very nice and kind to us. Many "regular" RV'ers. Time went by too fast....I recommend Hidden Acres Resort very highly. From the moment I got out of my car I could feel the quiet positive atmosphere. A real sense of peace.....

We're there for a stag party. Real nice and friendly people. Quiet place to go to. Fished from dock and in 3 casts, caught a Sallie and northern. Would love to go back for more then just 1 day.
