I have always, always had a great experience here! John and his team take care of their customers, treat them respectfully, and do great work! It’s comical to read some of the reviews on here!! Seems like people these days just can’t handle common things like inflation (price increases) or hearing the word no. Sad!! I will always recommend these guys to anyone looking for an honest, fair, and caring shop.

Had my oil changed. Find out the next day that they did not replace the oil cap, resulting in a huge mess under the hood that cost $75 to clean up. They also told me all 4 brakes needed to be replaced (not just the brake pads). Turned out that, no, my brakes were totally fine.

Front desk lady with the bull ring in her nose was horrible! She has no customer service skills whatsoever. She wasn’t much help at all and had this horrible attitude. When you’re not that good to look at your attitude and personality can sure help! Good day! I will never go to this location EVER again!

These folks are amazing. Had my Jeep ready in a couple a days. I live out of state and have an emergency to get home to. They not only took care of me and got it all running right they left me a little something to lift my spirits.
Thanks to all of you. Would recommend to everyone.

$1700 for brake and rotor replacement on a 2019 dodge Durango. They told me that they have to increase the price that they pay on rotors for “warranty purposes.” They literally showed me the price they paid for the rotors were $90, but they uncharged me $190 FOR EACH ROTOR! That’s $400 alone. I imagine the same could be said for the up charge on brakes too.
Even as I pressed for an explanation, all the rep could say was sorry, but the price was set and work was done. Everything you see by online says a brake and rotor replacement should be between $500-$1000. There was no additional work needed either, just replacing brakes and rotors. Due to a time crunch, I had no choice but to pay their price, but sincerely feel there should be a reimbursement. That pricing is CRIMINAL.
***Let me add to this since the business responded and is trying to minimize the validity of my post***
The mechanic John told me (instead of showed me) that the price of the rotors were around $90, but they had uncharged me $190 per rotor. He told me they were Napa premium rotors and I verified on their website the price is around $90 a piece retail. I’ve already paid, but since I live in this community as well, I wanted to share just how disgusted I am in this shop. They clearly see how much they can get over on customers (I’m not car/mechanic savvy) instead of doing right by them. I’ll share the receipt and try and save anybody else from getting finessed by this shady business.

They were friendly and fast, but went to get a tire repaired and they said I needed all new tires due to weather cracking. $1200-1800 estimate. Tires are less than 3 years old. Driven 20k miles max. Got second opinion at a different tire place, and the other place removed the nail in my tire for free

Super quick, fantastic work. They got the alignment spot on for my vehicle when other shops I've gone to have always seemed to mess things up.
More importantly, the person at the front desk and the tech I spoke with were friendly and great to work with. While I was waiting for the alignment to be completed, I saw everyone working there treating every customer with respect and providing thorough, comprehensive explanations to questions and concerns presented.
11/10 would recommend.

I will recommend this location of Car-X to everyone. I was really skeptical about car service shops but Car-X and the Manager/Employees definitely changed my mind. Thank you guys so very much!

They did the work quickly, and cheerfully helped me with a couple concerns I had.

I recently spent around $700 at CarX to have my brakes done and a tire replaced due to a leak. Less than a week later, not only were the brakes squeaking louder than before, but I had to adjust the air pressure in the new tire ( it was overfilled when they put it on), I discovered that the valve core had broken. I took the tire off, and found that the lug nuts had been left loose. If it hadn’t been for the overfilled tire that led me to discover the valve core issue, things could’ve gone way worse.
Already disappointed with the squeaky brakes (I subsequently scheduled an appointment at the dealership to ACTUALLY fix) I didn’t even bother mentioning the brake issue to CarX. I just wanted to avoid driving around on a donut and risk damaging my alignment and suspension. So, I took the tire back to CarX on Wednesday, where the woman at the front (Brita) told me it was a simple fix, likely free, and would probably be done by the end of the day. She said either way she’d call with an update and let me know when it would be ready.
The entire day passed with no call, leaving me stuck driving on a spare tire. When I called around 4 p.m. to check in (since they close at 5), the situation took a frustrating turn. She completely changed her story, saying she never said the tire would be done that day. When I mentioned I had been expecting an update, and reminded her of what was said she snapped “Keyword probably!” and then said it might be ready the next day (Thursday)—or maybe even Monday—like it didn’t matter and she was threatening to drag out the work. If I had known a simple issue would take as long as a major repair, I never would have brought the tire in for a simple valve core fix. I use my car for work— I would’ve gone somewhere else! It didn’t make any sense.
I tried to clarify what I had been told earlier, and she became dismissive, basically telling me that if I didn’t like it, I could just come pick up my tire and leave. Her attitude was so unprofessional that I decided to do just that. My wife was on the phone with me during the conversation, and she was confused by her attitude and how poorly the situation was handled. I called back later and left a voicemail saying not to bother working on the tire, and that I’d come pick it up.
When I went to retrieve my tire, the mechanic helped load the tire into my car, but it was clear no one cared (why would a customer turn down a free/lowcost repair after going through the trouble of bringing it in?) no apology, no effort to retain business or resolve the issue, nothing. I understand things can go wrong, but the rudeness, lack of communication, and total disregard for customer care were unacceptable—especially after spending $700. I will NOT be going back, and I wouldn’t recommend this shop to ANYONE!

I visited because my battery died a few times. Decided to get the brakes checked, get an oil change, and a transmission flush. They checked the battery, said it was fine. Then said the brakes and rotors needed replacing, but they weren't comfortable doing the transmission flush - too complicated for them. OK, fine. $620 for two back rotors, pads, and an oil change. Seemed high, but not terrible. Then as I was going to pick up the car, they say the battery died and they'll have to replace that too because it's undrivable. The added price to change the battery: more than $400 dollars. Holy smokes... So I bought a new battery myself for $130 and replaced it in 3 mins. Also the car started fine when I picked it up. Not sure what's going on here, but $400 to replace a battery is robbery. I'm bummed because I was excited to have a shop close to me, but unfortunately I can't trust them anymore. I won't be going back.
Edit: reduced to one star because they keep calling to harass me over this review. Please stop contacting me.

I made an appointment to get my lights inspected to due with an issue with my headlights. I walked out spending close to $800 for brakes and an oil change and wasted time waiting for them to try and fix a switch on my steering column only to be told after 3 hours they didn’t have the right part and it had to be ordered and wouldn’t arrive until after I left for my trip. They also missed that I had brake light out and almost left town with. I’m not impressed with this place at all and doubt I will come back. I just gave them 3 stars because my brakes and oil change were fine, although I paid ALOT of money to leave without my car fixed to my expectations. I think they should have been upfront about not having the correct part before doing the other repairs so I could go somewhere else. This isn’t about the money as much as wasted time and missing other details as part of a general inspection and maintenance.
