Every Rochester vet transfers you to their after hours care, just for them to not have a after-hours clinic in Rochester! Very frustrating and misleading!!!!

Called in to inquire whether the emergency vet was something we needed to consider. I was given options, and ultimately we decided to continue monitoring my dog and go on a bland diet to slow/ stop the vomiting and diarrhea. The person on the phone was extremely informative and very patient with me. While we didn't end up bringing our dog in, the suggestions and information given was extremely helpful. Thank you!

The price is very high to bring my cat in to get help. They did take care of my cat and he is getting much better.

I’m so thankful for BluePearl! Our lab got a fish hook stuck in his tongue on a Saturday afternoon. The great vet at BluePearl was able to successfully remove it quickly and send us home with our pup.

Incredibly thankful for the staff at BluePearl Rochester! My dog, Archie, had to have emergent surgery this week and everyone was so kind with frequent updates during his stay there. Special thanks to Dr. Conden, Dr. Novak, Kaitlyn, Andrew, and Marnie for their care and support during this challenging weekend!

Our stepson stole our credit card and we were charged 1,500 for services. Apparently you can use another credit card that isn’t yours here. (Follow up) Blue Pearl told us isn’t not on them and we are responsible so now it’s going to litigation and the Better Business Bureau.

We brought my dog in after he vomited a lot of blood on Christmas Eve. I knew there was a charge immediately so that was not an issue for me but from seeing other reviews that initial charge had increased significantly. I was told no procedures would be done until we signed off on them and paid, however they immediately did an ultrasound without consulting us. We would have elected to have it done anyways but they never asked first, so this policy confuses me. I felt as if I wasn’t listened to or there was miscommunication because initially I was told there was pooling of blood or gas in his tummy from an ulcer, when later I was told the blood was just from irritation in the esophagus from vomiting and that’s why the anti emetics were the way to go, not because of any blood pooling in his tummy. I did mentioned several times he only vomited the one time, and they kept mentioning “since he keeps vomiting it’s causing irritation” when he only did the one time. In the end we spent 1,300 dollars to be sent home with fluids, antacids, and anti nausea meds, for him to die the next day. I’m devastated losing my baby, it feels like a part of me was ripped away.

Have to say i have had some bad experiences with them but they have gone above and beyond this time. My dog had past away in my arms Monday Dec 4th. He was 13 not sure why but he died. When i brought him to blue pearl they were so passionate and caring to me. I cremated him and today picked him up. In the mean time i got a card from the staff. I cant tell you how this letter made me cry because even tho they didnt know him and they didnt euthanize him they still cared. They did his paw print in clay and the cremation place also did his paw print. They care these people have when you lose a beloved pet is unremarkable and ill be talking my other dogs their in any emergency they might have.

My sweet dog had gastroenteritis and this hospital was just wonderful! They were so sweet and compassionate to me and my dog!! They provided options with no judgement and let me decide what I needed to do. I had him stay there for about 12 hours and they let me know ALL costs up front. You do have to be ready to pay before you leave but they were just so kind. I will always go there if I ever have an emergency and will tell everyone I know with an animal. Such a great place! They even sent me a text update of my sweet boy with a picture so I could visually see how he was doing!

I brought my dog to BluePearl on a Sunday afternoon after we were attacked by a corgi of all breeds. Anyway, my dog was treated immediately, pain was under control within minutes and we were on our way home with three medications, a cone and lots of instructions. I am pleased to say that Sophie’s wounds are healing well and hopefully she’ll be walking on her leg soon. I would use BluePearl again in a heartbeat. ?

The vet and staff were absolutely amazing! We came in stressed and scared for our pet and they were able to quickly examine him and let us know what was wrong and what we could do about it. Their manner was calm and informative, we did not feel rushed nor like it was taking too long. I very much appreciated the coffee, tea and snacks available in the lobby since we had driven there very early in the morning before breakfast or anything. It is just such a comfort to know that if anything happens with our pet ever again, we know exactly who to come to in an emergency. We live in Wisconsin, but coming here is the closest emergency vet for us. Thank you so much Blue Pearl for helping us take care of our kitty!
