Your store really has issues. Jason wanted to argue the fact that at 1:00 I hadn't seen the Dr, via telehealth yet due to "medical issues ". You are not an ER, nor urgent care, and I waited 30 minutes past my appointment for even the pre exam. He claimed those issues came in before me, I had an appointment since several days prior and unless it's an actual emergency, your employees decided that other people were more important. I will not return. I have many reviews to submit for the public, this is completely unacceptable of any company. Even if in an effort to reschedule me, why only 5 minutes later and then nothing was said to me when I arrived, literally early for it too. No medical reasons can be assumed to be "more important " than my eyes, but you obviously have at minimum one employee who feels that talking over customers who are frustrated will earn him an award. He chooses to be rude, talk over customers and be rude to staff even. Having pushed my appointment off, over an hour and a half, still not seeing the doctor I ended up walking out. Horrendous service. Lenscrafters will see me Monday, as I was too upset to go immediately after your stores failure. I wouldn't accept this treatment at any medical facility that I pay to treat me.

The entire care team i.e. the receptionist (Amie), Optometric Tech (Evie), Dr. Daalen and the Optician(Jason) were all very warm and friendly to us. They took time to explain what they were doing and made my daughter very comfortable. Excellent team work. Thank you for everything.I'm looking forward to coming again.

-5 STARS!! GOD AWFUL! I have been wearing glasses and contacts since 3rd grade. I went in for contacts and glasses. The optometrist never got to a clear prescription and I questioned her. She said I had an astigmatism (which never had a history of) and took my prescription from a -7.00 to a -6.00 and -5.50. I tried them out just to see even through I expressed my concerns that it was wrong and it was (surprise surprise) worse! I called them back immediately said it was wrong and I wanted to come in again. They said sure I'll call you back. They didn't take my insurance then called me back 2 days later asking for my insurance information, payment of contacts (that I didn't even order!) and eye exam, plus never rescheduled me. I was talking to the STORE MANAGER the entire time and she was godawful. She was rude and told me I was wrong. I said I'm not paying and never coming back. She then became sweet and said to come back in for free. I said it was too late, I will be going somewhere else. She said "Fine, I don't want you back in here" and hung up immediately.DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

I asked if the frames were organized by size, as I need smaller frames. I was told “no” & offered no help in choosing or looking for frames. After finding a pair, I was seated for the ordering. I was not greeted, she looked up my account from 2018 & asked if I wanted the same lenses/coatings. When she drew the line on my lenses for progressives, she said it should be in the center of my eye. It was higher & she said “ it’s close.” She was typing into the computer & then told me my total without ever asking about insurance. I told her I had coverage & then waited for a new total. I’m hoping the prescription comes out right. Not impressed with the customer service & I’ll probably not be returning.

Employees were very kind. I was told at a different (more expensive) optometrist/eyeglasses store that I wouldn’t be able to get my pupillary distance (PD) measured unless I bought glasses from them… I called America’s Best and they were totally willing to measure my PD, even if I wasn’t buying glasses. They had many cute, trendy frames that seemed good quality and MUCH more reasonable prices. I will be recommending America’s Best to others.

I will NEVER return to this company again. They rush you through the eye exam. The optometrist was rude and pushy. My prescription was off right from the start and they kept telling me my eyes needed to adjust to the prescription. I returned 2 months later and finally convinced them to recheck the prescription. They made a minor adjustment and when the new glasses came in it was basically the same issue. The sales people were rude and kept saying "Give yours eyes time to adjust". I also asked if they could fix the plastic ear guard that pulled out a bit and the one sales lady said "This happens all the time with this style of frames". They wouldn't address the issue. So I struggled for 2 years with these glasses. Dealing with dizziness and headaches, thinking it was me. Nope, it is not me. I relunctly had another eye exam yesterday, at a different place, and come to find out my original America's Best prescription was way off in my right eye. Apparently 90° off! To put things in perspective, I basically need reading glasses but opted for daily wear prescription glasses. My question for America's Best is this, "How can my vision improve over 2 years according to my new prescription"? I don't know how much damage you did to my vision with this prescription, but I do know I will never set foot in your establishment again! I refer everyone I know to my current optometrist as he takes as much time needed to get things right and answer questions.

My experience today with America’s best in Rochester Minnesota was just phenomenal. The staff there today Russ, Julie, Jennifer, and Leslie all treated me with the most respect I have ever been given going through an eye appointment. They will forever have my business. Thank you all so much!!
