Let's face it... Not everyone is cut out to work in customer service. We'll just assume they are haters... and they probably wake up like that everyday. They need to stay home. Other people absolutely THRIVE in customer service and let their fabulous qualities shine through!! I stayed here during my latest work trip and had the pleasure of meeting Myranda, at check-in. Her stellar customer service skills are off the CHARTS!! Stay FABULOUS Myranda!! CS is so lucky to have you!!

The hotel was clean and had all the staples (refrigerator, coffee pot, mini stove) that I needed to get through the week. The staff was friendly and helpful. I loved the shuttle service to the clinic and the heated, secure garage for parking. Bonus!

Wanted to love this place but in certain areas it fell short. The size of the one bedroom is great as we like being able to close the bedroom from the living area. Management was responsive to an issue we had with Indian food being left in the pantry from previous guest with strong odors from their cooking. The following things were disappointing and will probably have us stay at Hyatt House in the future, where we have been many times.1. The sofa bed that we wanted to use just as a sofa was terribly uncomfortable. The cushions literally sunk and disappeared down into the mattress area. Far more comfortable at the Hyatt House Rochester and Hampton Inn Wisconsin Dells where we often stay.2. Providing a recliner is a great idea, but the type provided is terrible. In the upright position the back is too straight up. When trying to recline, the back springs back to the upright position unless fully reclined. Not possible to use with back just reclined a bit.3. The TV in the living area is way too small for the room size.4. All of the 1 bedroom units have a tub/shower combo. Not a deal breaker but we prefer a walk in shower which is only available in some Studio units.5. Carpet in room needed cleaning, our socks were black from walking on carpet.

I have been traveling to Rochester to go to Mayo for multiple family members for the past 20 years. The Candlewood has become our "go to" place to stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. The manager goes out of his way to make sure our stay has always been good. They have also been very flexible when we have to extend or shorten any of our stays. The underground parking is also a nice convenience, especially in the winter.

Decent hotel, but it looks like most of the rooms are booked for long-term stays. My room smelled like a combination of truck stop urinals and cigarettes, I think it was the carpet. Not sure I would stay here again, there are many options around. Bed + bathroom was fine tho and if you are on vacation, the kitchenette is great!

My fiancé and I reserved a room at Candlewood Suites in Rochester MN. We reserved t that we were interested in for our wedding coming up in June 2023.Daniel showed the room and it was perfect. We booked the room in March for our June wedding dates. The lady at the front counter, Liz, swiped our card and charged our acct for the room. Awesome, we were looking forward to getting this room, it was perfect!Four days before we are supposed to check in, my fiancé calls Candlewood Suites to confirm that everything is still good to go, in which they confirmed with us it was good to go.Four days later when we go to check in, the counter person Liz advises us that we don’t have a room. I calmly tried to figure out what happened and why our room was rug pulled from under us, in which she replied that we never signed a contract and was being rude and snapping at me. So I started to record the conversation on my phone, and at that time her demeanor changed and was much more helpful and pleasant. They never gave us a courtesy callto let us know that we didn’t have a room anymore, even though they confirmed with us four days prior.Candlewood Suites is a nice hotel, very modern and clean. But the rug pull and attitude we got was absolutely egregious

Beds are comfy, love the set up of room n small kitchen with it’s nice size bathroom.I think it is fabulous the laundry is free service which makes life easier. Thank you for having your Laundry Mat be free. I appreciate it greatly.I love that it’s got the caribou coffee, scooters coffee also in walking distances.I love that this location is smack in the center of everything!Everyone is friendly with smile which helps when your going through tough health things.

This place is a breath of fresh air everytime I'm there. The facility is always clean, and the staff there is not only accommodating but friendly, sincere, and welcoming especially Liz the front desk manager. I honestly wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Rochester other than fantastic place. Thank you Liz and Candlewood suites for making my stay feel like home.

This is our favorite place to stay when going to Mayo. The beds are comfy. The rooms are big and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's about 10 minutes drive to Mayo. They have a shuttle. Short walking distance to two different coffee shops. About 5 minute drive to Walmart. There is covered underground parking. The spots are narrow and harder for full size trucks but still nice. Free laundry. No pool or breakfast but we don't mind that.

Very poor quality room (king suite). Smelled like a smelly man in the room upon arrival, i had to clean the room to make it livable since no other suites were available. The bed had indents that never cleared up so we had horrible sleep the whole weekend. The next day, Top it off with loud teens running full speed at night and neighbors above walking loudly first thing in the morning. The only response from the hotel was the "manager" giving us $20 discount and some points. It was disappointing especially when we didn't complain until noise levels increased. Word to the wise, don't keep quiet here, make your concerns known otherwise nothing will be done. Not coming here again if i want a restful weekend.

We’ve stayed in this hotel at least two dozen nights while receiving care at Mayo. The staff is excellent, rooms are spotless and spacious. We love having the kitchenette, recliner and desk in the standard rooms and they are large enough to be wheelchair friendly. It’s a quick drive to Mayo and downtown with lots of restaurants nearby.

To be fair this place exceeded my expectations room and quality wise. The rooms were spacious and everything felt new. What ruined my experience here besides complimentary breakfast not being offered was that the satalitte TV didn't work well at night and it had way more channels than your basic hotel stay.... I woke up to see the housekeeper in my room too which was completely awkward. Not the best stay I had but I wouldn't mind giving it another chance. Some other pros to this place is that there's a shuttle that'll take you to the mayo clinic and there's places to go out and io in walking distance
