I use to love Hy-Vee but their prices just keep going up . 6 cake donuts for $ 8.99 is insane ! And it's bakery has gone down hill . The old fashion donuts are a joke now . The Apple fritters and ridiculously priced ! We don't buy the bakery anymore . Wonder how much gets thrown out ! Just sad . Miracle Whip is $ 8.00 dollars , seriously OMG ! It's just over $ 5.00 at Walmart! Hy-Vee you probably don't care but you are gonna lose a loyal fan .

It's just straight up disgusting how often the food they are selling is way past expiration date. Especially fruit and veggies. The shelves in this department are often full of close to rotten or fully rotten items. Hyvee is not a cheap grocery store by all means. They should pay closer attention to the freshness of the product they are selling for these prices. Anything else is disrespectful and potentially harmful to clients. But is this really a surprise from a store whose operation are mostly run by minors who absolutely don't seems to care. I for one had it with this store - and with all other Hyvees in my area, which are equally careless - and will not shop here anymore. I'm just afraid I will catch some illness from the sub standard products they are selling. It's disturbing how they don't care even if you point out things to managers there.

Raymond B. on 4/1 was friendly and polite. After he told me my total, I realized I didn't have enough on my debit card and I didn't have another option to cover the remaining balance. I felt so bad about taking extra time as a line had started forming behind me. Raymond was all positivity however and directed me to the customer service desk to void out enough items so that I could finish my transaction with Jo Ann. After a few minutes, Raymond surprised me by coming back up to us, handing Jo Ann his own card and telling her to put the items back in my bags. i am so grateful to him and HY-VEE. i hadn't been having a very good day and he completely turned it around for me. Thank you Ray!!

Food was ice cold. Ordering deep fried food
(Crab Rangoon, egg roll and orange chicken does not reheat correctly.)
Not the restaurant fault.
Too many stops before picking up my order. Promise was 30-40 minutes and ended up being a hour and a half.
Poor service and food was not fit to eat by the time it arrived. Very disappointing.

I didn't receive either of the items I ordered; one was removed without my knowledge, and the other wasn't correct. I don't know why my order wasn't cancelled if they didn't have either of the items I paid for, or why I wasn't contacted, but instead they opted to waste my time and the time of my driver who drove 15 minutes out to me with food that wasn't even correct.
The last time I ordered here the food didn't even look like food. It looked like it'd been scraped off the bottom of the pan after sitting there for hours, and had the consistency of mush. I put it down to me ordering it quite late in the evening, but this is the second time I've had issues here which makes me think it's a bit more than that.
I wish I could give a positive review because their food has always been amazing when I go in person, but for some reason the quality just hasn't been the same when I've ordered online which is a shame and it doesn't do the food here justice.

The grocery store is expansive and selection is good. However, a bit more expensive than other grocery options. I got on here to write a review specifically on Aisles Online. I've used this service a few times and it is never quite the timesaver I hoped it would be. The app to order is great- simple to use. But, as I sit in my car now waiting 20+ minutes realizing I could have just gone in and gotten it done. Note- pick up is on the North side of the building, not out front under the awning.

I ordered a pulled pork meal for 2 with a side of tator tots. They were out of pulled pork so only delivered the tots. I would have cancelled the whole order and ordered something else if I knew that. Tator tots are not a meal so it was pointless to deliver just that when I ordered a full meal for 2.
